"This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. The village is pretty, quiet and within 10 minutes drive of a E.Leclere supermarket and the main road. Nothing special to do in the closed surroundings apart canoë but great base to explore a little further: Dune de Pilat and bassin d’Arcachon, Bordeaux the oenologue tour is interesting including testings, Montbazillac and Saint Emilion without missing the historique part of Bergerac. "Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits à l’occasion du week-end de l’ascension dans les 2 gîtes permettant d’accueillir les 12 personnes. Propreté, équipements, cadre extérieur, confort, literie … tout était parfait ! Le gîte est dans une impasse très calme à 20 min de Saint Emilion. Nous avons pu dîner à l’extérieur et de la piscine (un peu trop fraîche pour la saison). Très belle rénovation de cette belle demeure en bénéficiant de tout le confort ! Une petite suggestion : un microonde serait apprécié !...
