"The property is exquisite, very clean, well maintained, and beautifully presented. The rooms were excellent, with comfortable beds and a modern, spacious bathroom. Most of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is within walking distance of the famous ByWard Market, which is convenient; however, the surrounding area has a noticeable number of homeless individuals and people begging on the sidewalks. This made walking around less pleasant, and it’s important to note that the neighborhood is not as clean or polished as the hotel itself. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious, though quite pricey. On one of the mornings, service was very slow, likely due to staffing challenges given the number of guests, which was disappointing. Parking is also expensive. I would have expected complimentary parking at a hotel of this level. We were fortunate to secure a spot on-site; otherwise, we would have had to use one of the public parking lots several blocks away. If you’re visiting during peak season, I recommend arriving a few hours before check-in and asking reception for a parking pass as early as possible. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel with great amenities, but the surrounding area and some service limitations are worth keeping in mind."
