"We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped."

"Fabulous house with beautiful pool. Various parts of the family but at max we had 10 people but it could’ve held more. Fully equipped and Christian and Nono were fabulous gardiens. Bringing us cakes and produce from their garden. A really lovely holiday"

"We were transported back to the 13th century which is the age of this beautifully restored gîte. Our hosts Pascal and Christine were welcoming and answered all our questions about the area. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. Local amenities such as a foie gras cooperative and boulangerie in nearby Riguepeu and Vic Fezensac were part of our feeling of being at home among new friends."

"Marleen and Raf were the perfect hosts. Anything we needed, booking restaurants, advice on places to visit, they did all this graciously. The property was exceptionally clean, the pool was spacious with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and a lovely shaded pagoda area with further seating. Within the property, the shower needs some attention, the jets don't work, the seals are coming off and the water is not draining properly. "Had a wonderful holiday in Monfaucon. Property way beyond our expectations, met all our needs and then some, like the luxury bed linen. The pool is especially fantastic!
