Cabins overlooking the lake Sakatah, bordering the state trail
10/10 Excellent
"Great lake view from porch & cabin, even from the bed! Cozy cabin fully furnished, just need to bring the groceries. Firepit right out back door & porch is furnished, so no need to bring chairs. Pet-friendly. Lake dock out back for fishing & boating. Very quiet, off season. We will go back!"
"Julie and Brad were great hosts. We didn’t know where to go when we got there but on the south west side of the house there is a driveway and parking spots available for guests. When we got there we figured out that it wasn’t a full kitchen in the space but they were very accommodating and actually made the breakfast that we had planned and brought for us. Super nice super accommodating. Pleasantly surprised with the pool table and all amenities. We will be booking this again in the future. "
Log Inn on Madison Lake. Multi generation. Corporate retreat for team building
10/10 Excellent
"We had a family group of 21 at the Log Inn and had a great time! The listing is accurate to the letter & the property is lovingly maintained. Got to chat with Jerry briefly - he is a treat! Make sure to appreciate his original artwork. The place is super clean. It has the odd small scrape or scuff, which is inevitable for a place so big. It is VERY well equipped including bath towels, linens, even toys. The kitchen has every appliance you can imagine & service for 40 was not an exaggeration. Plenty of bathrooms. The kids loved the Cousins room, which is a bit separate from the other bedrooms, so less noise!Wheelchair accessibility is not just a token ramp! My niece was able to navigate the whole first floor, every entrance, AND the outdoor spaces, and there's a bathroom that seems ADA compliant. AWESOME!We had some rain which meant a little time stuck indoors, but the furnishings and amenities are so well setup that we never felt cramped. The garage game room and multiple dining room tables for meals & card games came in clutch.Just a couple minor things: the water is somewhat hard, so we brought in bottled for drinking & cooking. (They do have a softener & provided some bottled water on arrival.)Don't expect a sandy beach: the water line is mostly wooded/shrubby and the water shallow but 3 docks meant we still had good access for kayaking, swimming, & fishing (the kids caught more than they could count!). I bet we'll be back someday!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the property. Didn't receive any communication from the host but wasn't totally necessary. Would recommend to others to stay here. "
