I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Salado. I spent a great deal of my childhood driving over from Waco for special occasion meals. It was wonderful to be back. Much has changed, but everything looks so pretty!
We have been friends since high school, graduated in 1984. It takes a long time to make an old friend.

It was a beautiful property!! EVERYTHING about the hotel was WONDERFUL!!! GREAT pool view from our upper devk room,activities for the family,walking to everything downtown Salado,the rooms are HUGE & BEDS & PILLOWS SO COMFORTABLE!!!! The grounds & pool keepers keep it all so clean!! And the poolside bar is perfect & pool is huge!! Very nice clean pool.

The was fine, but not luxurious. The grounds were well tended. The restaurant menu was ok, but we had expected a few more options based on the cost of the room and the fees they added. The dining tables for four are small and so are the chairs. The bed was good and pillows were fluffy. The property is hilly so you need to be able to walk up and down sloping driveways. Parking near our rooms was extremely limited and it forced us to walk those sloping paths.

The property itself was very nice and attractive. Our room was clean and nice but our bedside lights did not work. I called the front desk and was told that she had no light bulbs. Additionally the deadbolt would not lock. It was late and we did not want to move so we just stayed. When we checked in we were told that breakfast was at 7am, but when we arrived at 7 we were told that a full.breakfast wasn’t available until 7:30. This was frustrating. However the food was good and the waitress was very nice and cordial. We might stay here again.

Property is in the middle of town and next to the creek, very beautiful oak trees on property. I used Expedia to make reservations, they ended up charging me $50.00 more than if I had gone straight to the site and made reservations. Will not be using Expedia anymore to make reservations.

Salado getaway

The rooms are very clean and they provide shower gel, shampoo and conditioners in cute pumps. I love the front entrance with chairs and table and each one has its own little patio! This is my second stay here and it does not disappoint. The front desk guy Scott is very pleasant and made checking in very nice.

Maybe request to be in one of the buildings closest to the pool. We were in the building on the back side and could hear cars/traffic on I-35 all night.

Great historic place with lots of trees and adjacent to a park. Walking distance to town. Spacious rooms and very confortable. The only draw back is the noise from the expressway. We loved the restaurant but noticed the menu is limited. We expected more original entrees. But great regardless.

Horrible, general manager told me they have no cribs even after promised, and he walked out before i could talk to him for a refund so another person had to do it for me. Mark/Marc is a coward and genuinely deserves to be fired.

Perfect Stagecoach in pleasant Salado

Stagecoach Inn is just a pleasant hotel in quaint little Salado. Stagecoach is clean and quiet and perfect for a couple's getaway. The little downtown of Salado is completely walkable with nice restaurants, plenty of coffee/cafe options, and great shopping experiences.
