Top Salamumu Beach Hotel Reviews
Samoa Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"All was great thank you"
Taumeasina Island Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful Staff"
Le Vasa Resort
8/10 Good
"The room was very clean and had lots of extras to make your stay more comfortable. It was very well appointed. We stayed in a lagoon bungalow and it was nice to see the boats going over to Manona Island from our balcony. The fire dancing was well presented. The meals were good. The pool was clean lovely property, set out well. If you want to go to Manona island not on a tour be aware that the boats leave early from 630 for wst 10 one way, with all the locals and return around 1pm . if taking a boat by yourself it’s 100 WST one way or you can do a tour for 150 WST organised through reception."
Miti Maninoa Ocean Club
10/10 Excellent
"We had a nice spacious room with large comfy king bed and a single. There was a good size fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. The bathroom was modern with a large tiled shower and stone basin with plenty of vanity space. We had a nice size deck looking to the palm trees and sea. Very pretty, great views and good swimming beach. The Maninoa village runs the resort and uses local personnel who are very helpful, chatty and smiley. There is a basic breakfast, toast, bananas, some pastries/donuts etc from the local bakery and usually eggs. sausage and bacon etc. Dinner is basic but fine, lots of fried food, burgers, the chowmein looked good. You can dine at the Sinalei Reef or Coconuts both a short walk next door which is a nice change. You get the opportunity to chat with locals and its a very relaxed beach vibe. There is no pool but the sea is devine."
Highland Hideaway above Apia nestled in your own private little valley
10/10 Excellent
"The premises were clean and perfectly appointed to meet our every need. The gardens are beautiful and maintained. It was the perfect hideaway. Because the house is in the Samoan highlands it escapes the heat of Apia. And it’s isolated location it was the perfect location to just relax and unwind. The Kitchen is fully equipped with backup contingencies in the unlikely event of a power blackout.Tim and Maria are wonderful and welcoming hosts and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The balcony was the perfect location for a morning cup of tea or coffee or just listening to the birds. But it does get hot through the day. We loved our stay and when we plan our next trip to Samoa, the Samoan Highland Hideaway will be at the top of our list for accommodation"
Coconuts Beach Club Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the bar, restaurant, pool and lagoon. Staff were friendly and welcoming."
Sinalei Reef Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"It was a great 5 days get away. The resort had everything you needed with a great pool and beach access. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a great time with friends."
Orator Hotel Samoa
10/10 Excellent
"Orator is a local gem- outside of the main Apia area with lots of Samoan charm. Set in beautiful tropical gardens, great pool. Rooms a good size and lovely helpful staff. The big prize is the Sunday To'ona'i- traditional Samoan lunch- which is spectacular Samoan cuisine with a rollicking crowd of after- church happy locals, all there for the food. Big kudos to Jerry and Charlotte for keeping it real Samoan. Internet was spotty but they are working to resolve this. For a tru Samoan hospitality experience with local vibes- come to Orator"
Dave Parker's Eco Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Lita the owner was in every way shape and form an incredibly gracious host. We arrived exhausted and burnt out after trekking in from Aufaga and we were at our lowest when she greeted us happily and after looking over our reservations, getting our rooms was no hassle at all. Lita even upgraded my room to an aircon room free of charge just because. She was so kind. There was one day I had to walk up the hill because our rental car couldn't handle the weight of 3 of us and our luggage and she stopped on her way to town, turned around, picked me up in her car and drove me back up the hill no questions asked. She saw how exhausted i was and like a literal angel rescued me again lol. Their laundry service was such a blessing as we didn't have a ton of time on our hands to run into town and do it ourselves but her staff handled it and got all my items back to me clean and ready to go in no time. If it's up to me I will come back and stay here every single time I am in Apia for any future visits. Nothing beats coming back at the end of a long day out in the heat and hustle and bustle and having a clean safe room to rest and recharge in 💯 P.S you really CANNOT beat the view from the deck or the beautiful waterfall you can swim near. This place is paradise ✨️ 😍"
