"It was an excellent experience staying in the villa. Large, beautiful rooms with huge bathrooms. The decent-size private swimming pool , outside patio and a lawn with chirping weaver-birds building their several nests added to the experience. The resort was pretty and calm. Both the restaurants, Sholla and Chinkaara have a great selection of authentic Rajasthani dishes with a modern twist and they create a delightful fusion. Chinkaara is a bit informal and has some mughlai and non-Indian options both at breakfast and dinner. Sholla has traditional Rajasthani menu served in a Royal caravan like ambience. The service was amazing."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Haveli Inn Pal. The check-in and check-out process went smoothly and efficiently, even with our 7 a.m. check out time. Breakfast normally starts at 7 a.m. but the dining room was able to accomodate us earlier so we could leave for our train on time. The rooms were clean and well-maintained with excellent toiletries and ample amenities. The restaurant also served us a delicious meal of Ker Sangri, fresh naan and roti, and paneer our first night there. All of this was complemented by the phenomenal view of Mehrangarh Fort from our Heritage View rooms. We would love to return to Haveli Inn Pal to enjoy the hospitality and warmth of its caretakers."

"A great jewel in Jodhpur that affords an affordable Heritage experience. The property is a former summer palace for Jodhpur Royalty. The suites are in the Lake Palace itself but we stayed in the more affordable 2 person rooms that apparently quartered soldiers in the past. These smaller bedrooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable. They are all on the ground floor and there is nature right outside - so expect a few bugs and ants. And Langurs hanging out on the outside. As a green haven in the midst of chaotic and honestly dirty Jodhpur this has to be expected. There are horse stables and foals on the vast grounds besides multiple animals including peacocks, langurs, herons, big big bats, we even saw a wild boar streak through the facility! Our children enjoyed the horse ride which cost Rs 1000 for 20 minutes. The place has so much undocumented history! There an old Shiva temple and step well besides numerous abandoned monuments that could tell a lot of stories if they could speak. The staff are courteous and the restaurant serves an eclectic menu although their Dal Makhani is famous throughout Jodhpur. If you love nature there is no better place to stay in Jodhpur."

"Ratan villas offered us a place to escape to amid the hustle and bustle of jodphur. Morning site seeing followed by lunch and an afternoon relaxing round the pool. The owner, manaager and staff were polite, attentive and helped us organise tours and taxis where needed. Rooms were perfect, large bed, plenty of storage and air conditioning good. Food was good and reasonablely priced. Love the back story to this place too, home from home Would defo recommend to anyone. "
