If you're looking for a place to stay in Jodhpur - think again and stay here instead. Our experience at this homestay was the absolute highlight of our trip. You cannot find a nicer family, and they make the guests feel part of the community! We were able to travel to Jodhpur during the day for a visit, and spend more time at the homestay in the evening.

Hotel is quite beautiful on several acres of manicured property. Pool absolutely sparkling and lovely to enjoy from dining table of one of the hotel's restaurants. Rooms clean and large, staff friendly, helpful and competent. A lot for the money.

The hotel is nice and comfortable, and the staff is helpful and courteous; however, the pool needs maintenance and a good cleaning—it's a shame there's been this neglect.

Ratan Vilas is an outstandingly well managed property. Everything is immaculate. The ever present property manager Mr. Balveer made sure that our stay was absolutely perfect. To stay at Umaid Bhawan is to be treated like royalty. The staff takes painstaking steps to ensure very personal service and your complete satisfaction. My husband and I stayed for three nights to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary and the staff went out of their way to ensure that our private dinner was unforgettable. We cannot wait to come back.

It was an excellent experience staying in the villa. Large, beautiful rooms with huge bathrooms. This was a great place -- we stayed in yurt like cabins, ate communallyin an open pair pavilion. We had a great keep safari through the coeuntrysie, saw great animals and really interesting Bishnoi villages. Traveling with my young grandchildren, this was a hit for all generations!

First off, thanks to Manoj for always being there to make my stay so comfortable and enjoyable. He not only help me find transportation for onward trip to Udaipur but also negotiated fare with a random auto driver. Whenever he saw me, he would ask if I needed anything. This is a beautifully restored small palace with gorgeous period furnishings from the 1800s. It has been in the current owner's "Trideep's" family for seven generations. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. There was a wonderful hot buffet breakfast served in the garden daily - truly delisious food.
