"I have never felt as welcome anywhere as Bernadine made us feel from the moment we parked our car . The Room is beautiful and spacious with anything you Might need available to you . Lucy and Lara were lovely side entertainment ( 2 Jack russels ) Breakfast was amazing and freshly prepared for you and served with such amazing charm and beautiful presentation . Location is perfect , it's so serene facing a golf course with a beautiful garden that you can lose yourself in . it was my first visit but will definately not be my last !"

"Lovely property in a prime position just a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms (superior) very comfortable and clean, staff were lovely and attentive. Food in the restaurant was excellent, but the service was slow. We pre ordered our breakfast on the day we left as we needed to get on the road as it was a long journey, that worked out well. The waterfront just up the road is worth a visit. Would recommend."

"Second time we stayed at Gonana, right on the beach. Nice firm bed, hot breakfast. Would be nice to have a small fridge in the bedroom to keep water cool on the hot day. Anytime self service upstairs at the breakfast/ lunch area. Definitely, we will be back"

"Located right beside a quiet, peaceful stretch of beach the setting is perfect with beautiful views from the dining room. Just a short walk away is the waterfront with all its trendy restaurants. It’s also only about a 5-minute walk to the main beach and strip of eateries. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely honesty bar. All in all a superb venue for a weekend. "

"Great views and lovely farm house charm. Great location to walk around Laangeban and also lovely to have the woodfired hot tub. Only challenge is there is no food after 8 so if you are arriving late make sure you tell them in advance. "
