Come and enjoy a fun packed vacation visit to Maplecrest at Lake Jocassee right next to Devils Fork State Park in the mystic Cherokee Foothills of the South Carolina. Our well kept vacation rental is a true all seasons 4 bedroom 2 bath home that offers wonderful year-round accommodations for up to 8 guests. The house is located on a secluded 2 acre private property with woodland views / large front & screen porches / full kitchen / gas BBQ grill / outdoor deck dining / campfire ring and activity field / Free WIFI. We are exactly 1 mile from the Devils Fork State Park Boat Launch & Swimming Area and have a large parking area for both your boat trailer and other vehicles. Although we are not a lakefront property, our location is extremely peaceful and quiet away from the busy and noisy daily road traffic to Lake Jocassee at the Main Park Entrance ! Guests love that we offer easy (2 minute) back entrance access to the Lake boat ramps and is one of the most convenient locations to area restaurants , food stores, boat rentals and waterfall tour boats. Children always welcome and a well behaved pets are considered. From our nicely equipped kitchen to our comfy beds and tranquil woodland surroundings. Maplecrest is the perfect rental home for couples, families and friends.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
UNPLUG SMALL APPLIANCES / wash dishes / Stove / Oven / BBQ grill shall be left in a clean condition. Refrigerator emptied / cleaned. All trash bagged and placed in outside storage shed containers.
All litter and pet waste must be picked up from the outside areas and placed in trash cans secured in trash bags. Campfire ring emptied of cold ashes. Hose rolled up and water turned off at spigot,
Windows and doors closed and locked. Thermostat set to 78 degrees Summer / 60 degrees Winter. Leave the (2) house keys on fireplace mantle(1) key in lockbox, Security Alarm System to be armed AWAY.

We had a great stay at Jocassee. House was clean, quiet, and super close to the boat ramps at Lake Jocassee. There was plenty of room for our boat. We even saw a mama bear and her cubs. That was a special treat! We will be back. Lake Jocassee has quickly become our favorite lake!

We had a perfect long weekend. The dogs loved the yard, the house met all of our needs and the proximity to the lake was awesome. We couldn't have asked for better weather or the convenience and comfort of the house. When we got off the lake tired and ready to go home and cook dinner, we had everything we needed right there. This was a quaint little house very close to Jocassee. Our family and another family were able to both fit our boats in the driveway, stayed all day at the lake and grilled out while the kids played in the big back yard in the evenings. A perfect summer trip. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

This location is perfect for Lake Jocassee access, it’s soo close!! Plenty of room to park a boat and the driveway wasn’t steep. We had a great time, the house is comfortable and has everything you need. The most helpful amenities for me were the coffee filters and washer/dryer/detergent!! We had two families with kids and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Huge dining table for us all to dine at together. The host is very accessible and responsive. Another year of great family memories made at Maplecrest!

We wanted to explore Lake Jocassee for the first time and the location simply cannot be beat, just 1 mile from the launch ramp. The house was very clean and well ordered and the beds comfortable. We missed the part about no internet but that's on us. Recommended.

This property was absolutely perfect! It was clean, great space for a small house, super comfy couch, peaceful and relaxing. The fenced in yard was great for the dog. Even though not on the lake, it is just less than a mile to the dock, and we were able to walk there after launching the boat on the day the parking lot was full. The owner was so helpful and thoughtful enough to call on check in day with some tips for arrival when the park is busy. We will be back again next year, and the year after, and the year after....

This house is in a great location to be able to access both Lake Jocassee and Lake Keowee. It was nice, clean, and private. I loved that it had a fenced in front yard. Appliances are dated but all in working condition. It had everything we needed but I did miss having my Keurig (no big deal). There was not any WiFi but we did have cell service. The owner was very accessible for questions. I would rent here again next time we come back.
