Location is a bit outside of Strasbourg downtown, but it is close to a streetcar/tram station so it is easy to get there. "We had an nice 1 week stay in this charming little house. The house is well situated in a quiet street in the centre of the Medieval town of Barr. The house is recently modernized and tastfully decorated, the kitchen in the basement is simple and functional, it however has a low ceiling. This and the fact that you have to take two small stairs to get into your bed on the second floor, makes the house less suitable for elderly and long travelers like me. The town of Barr is certainly worth a...

"We stayed in the maisonette for a weekend and were satisfied. The cottage could have been a bit cleaner, there were (semi-permanent) stains on the sheets and bedding and we found some old papers and packaging. The hosts were however very nice and welcoming and easily approachable. We had a small problem with a bottle opener and were able to walk right up to the hosts to ask them for help. They immediately helped us open the bottle. It's the little things! ;)"

"A tastefully and thoroughly renovated water mill, hidden in an idyllic valley in the middle of the woods. Ideal for those looking for peace and nature. The only thing you hear is the splashing water of the stream. Ideal base for the many hiking trails in the area or the sights in the wider area in Alsace. The house is comfortably furnished and fully equipped. Guests are warmly welcomed by the owner who is very helpful."
