Never again!

I am a retired person with bad knees. The lift was “out of service” for 3 of the 4 days. Carrying a 20kg suitcase up to the 3rd floor and down again was no fun. Also, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and appeared to be broken on the window side. Never again!

Attention très compliqué pour accéder aux chambres, l’hôtel est censé vous contacter pour vos donner vos accès en amont, ce qui n’a pas été fait. J’ai du batailler avec hôtel.com devant le b&b afin que le propriétaire puisse me contacter. La chambre était sale et en plus le mobilier était détruit. Ne croyez pas avoir le petit déjeuné des photos de l’annonce, vous aurez le droit seulement à un paquet de biscuit et une capsule de café dans votre chambre.

Nicht empfehlenswert trotz guter Lage

Ankunft: Zugang über Code zum Gebäude hat nicht funktioniert. Kein Personal vor Ort, aber schnelle Hilfe über WhatsApp. Zimmer klein, dunkel, völlig überteuert. Bettwäsche war benutzt, Decken Schweißgeruch. Gestank aus Bad, bis wir Syphon repariert haben. Defektes Bett. Matratze viel zu weich und durchgelegen. Trotz unserer Anfrage keine getrennte Bettdecke erhalten. Drei Latten waren durchgebrochen, haben wir repariert. Völlig verdreckte Küche. Sehr positiv: sehr gute innerstädtische ruhige Lage in der Fußgängerzone.

Sengen var meget dårlig. Der var ikke rengøring under opholdet, dog rent da vi ankom. Aircondition larmede og trænger til service. Der var ikke eget køleskab som vist på billedet og der var ikke altan som vist på billedet. Derudover var der en del larm.

Sempre e solo nel Sud Italia non prendono la carta di credito per pagare. Con varie scuse ma assurdo. Malgrado questo l'hotel è in posizione strategica e molto comodo.

Great location, 10min walk from the train station and just off a busy street full of restaurants and shops. The only disappointing thing was the washroom. The shower stall leaks water onto the floor when you shower. Seems to have been an on-going issue as parts of the floor were water stained already. I notified the front desk representative but nothing was really done. We had to use towels to try to contain the water but the floor still got soaked nonetheless. Everything else about this place was great, especially the included breakfast and the cleaniness of the rooms.

Dodgy hotel, be wary.

Be wary when booking this hotel. When we arrived there was no one to greet us, which lead to us waiting outside for 30 minutes until the door was opened ‘remotely’. Once inside, the place looks like it’s been built in a hurry and seemingly none of the corridor lights worked. In the room, we were not provided with any toilet paper so had to go foraging in a service cupboard to find some, nor did the safe work with it seemingly being locked shut. Upon questioning (over WhatsApp) we were told to not worry about it, but there was no where else for us to keep passports etc. not very comforting when the place has a dodgy feel to it from the outset... Furthermore, our so called ‘courtyard view’ consisted of literally a brick wall, meaning we got very little natural light into our room. Whilst not happening to us, one of the other rooms’ door handle fell off during their stay, fortunately there was the one member of staff on hand (only in the morning) to fix this, but I fear had it happened any other time of day they would have been stranded. Breakfast was a mishmash of seemingly whatever was on sale at the supermarket that week and served by an unenthusiastic host who spoke little to no English. In short, don’t stay here unless you literally have no other choice!

We were a family of 5 staying here for a night after our trip to Salerno. It is very centrally located and ideal for visiting many great restaurants and the sea. Overall the facility was clean and comfortable. There was no one to receive us during check-in, but all instructions were provided via email before we arrived. The 2 limitations of staying here:1) no staff on site; 2) construction going on in the building so may not always be quiet during the day. (but neither had any impact on us).

il senso dell'ospitalità è da rivedere

Quando siamo arrivati presso la struttura non ci ha accolti nessuno, siamo entrati in camera solo in seguito ad istruzioni che ci sono arrivate per sms dopo aver provato innumerevoli volte a chiamare i titolari al telefono. Il mattino seguente abbiamo atteso inutilmente per 2 ore qualcuno che ci servisse la colazione in teoria era alle 8.00. Avevano avuto un disguido (che può capitare) ma nessuno ci ha avvisati, e anche in questo caso non ci hanno risposto al telefono. Risultato? mattinata persa...

Nice location, no character place

The hotel location was great. The room was clean. The room vas very simple and small, and the balcony was with a building view… The shower is TINY, and water came out all over the floor. Breakfast was fresh yet no cheese, eggs or vegetable which made it poor for us. The place felt a little like an escape room.

The best Bed and Breakfast place

This was such a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Absolutely fantastic. We stayed 5 nights and did not want to leave at the end of the vacation. The place is on the 3rd floor with an elevator close to the beach promenade and right at the entrance to the fantastic old city of Salerno. The rooms were like hotel rooms with nice modern bathroom and a wonderful bed. Some rooms even has an balcony with a peak to the sea. The Lady running the hotel was very helpful and the breakfast was wonderful with expresso coffee and many different cakes. The lady running the hotel did not speak much English but it was no problem as she used an translation app on her phone which we could communicate through. I have stayed at two different Bed and Breakfast places in Salerno both very nice. However this one will be the one I will return to. In fact when ever we go back to Salerno we will be sure to stay here. The restaurant next door is very nice as well (we ate there almost every lunch) and the coffee shop right in the ally is one of the best in Salerno. Perfect location, nice rooms and wonderful service. 360 hospitality certainly lives up to its name.
