Elana was a great host. She had breakfast ready for us each morning and was very accommodating. The property was very beautiful and overlooked the Mediterranean and many of the rooftops in Salerno. The train station is about a 20 minute walk. It is easy to get to, but the cobblestones can be a little bit bumpy. The rooms were very well-kept and clean and we’re nice. The other guests were very quiet and we’re also very nice when we met them on the veranda.

I honestly can't get over of how amazing our stay is at Il Melograno. The room we stayed in has a great view of the coast. The room is extremely cozy. What a way to have a drink in your hand, sitting in your own balcony and admiring the great view in front of you. Or hold on to your drink while enjoying the hot tub/jacuzzi which is also on the balcony. And then, there's our hosts ... Carmela, Teresa and Salvatore. The front desk staff are absolutely stellar. We felt incredibly welcomed and loved our stay. The view from our terrace was breathtaking and the breakfast options were plentiful. There are 4 parking stalls onsite, or an area for parking directly across the street, adjacent to the mountains. The parking is outlined in blue (paid) but the hotel can give a voucher so parking is not an extra charge. We were only able to stay here for one nice and wish it was at least a week. Amalfi is absolutely stunning with postcard views everywhere you look. There was a misunderstanding with the reservation and Vincenzo was more than gracious to accommodate and for the one night we were there we felt at home. The breakfast buffet is hands down the best I've seen with so many delicious choices along with cappuccino made to order. Will definitely return to Residenza Luce as soon as possible!

Fantastic stay at Bambagina Mare in the heart of Amalfi We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bambagina Mare. My wife and I only had one night in Maiori. We arrived late in the evening and the host was very accommodating and friendly. He met our taxi outside the building and guided us to our room. The following morning he graciously allowed us to keep our luggage behind a locked door while we explored Maiori. We had an excellent stay at Casa Minori. Everything was outstanding. The apartment was very clean, the rooms were a good size, and we absolutely loved the ocean view and balcony. Having a washing machine was also a huge plus. After a long trip, being able to wash our clothes and have everything ready for the next few days was incredibly convenient. This hotel is a little gem: clean, well maintained, and with good amenities overall. However, the breakfast arrangement needs urgent improvement. Breakfast is provided through vouchers at a nearby bakery, where I found the staff rude and unhelpful. On my only visit, I showed my voucher, was told to wait, and was then ignored for at least 20 minutes. My husband and I had an amazing experience at La Bambagina in Amalfi, Italy. The four-night stay was delightful, thanks to the incredibly kind and welcoming staff, Federica and Giovanna. They helped us with restaurants, museums, and beach club recommendations, provided a fascinating history of Amalfi, and even arranged transport for us. Carmen the host was the most wonderful welcoming woman. She made our first stop in Italy such an enjoyable experience. The accommodations were very pleasant and as advertised. The beds were comfortable and additional bedding was provided for the chilly evenings. The breakfast was delicious and Carmen makes a fantastic cappuccino and we got the honor of tasting her delicious lemon cake. It can get noisy on the street up until midnight but that is going to be true no matter where you stay so...

We loved this place and the location was great! The AC was quiet and kept us comfortable all night long. The video the owner sent was extremely helpful so we did not get lost finding our way to the B&B.
