this was a tremendous vacation, everything in the hotel is suited to pamper the guests. Service is impeccable, anyone you encounter whether its the chef, the waiters, front desk, spa and even the manager will smile and look for ways to be helpful. the rooms are comfortable and well equipped , the showers are small but nice especially the rainforest head. the hotel's restaurant is the best one we experienced in the islands, the spa and thermal pools are really great after a day of travelling

Beautiful property tucked into a nature area (with horses and goats and an edible garden!). The buildings were very modern in contrast to the surroundings, which I found visually appealing. We stayed in one of the new rooms. it didn't have a kitchenette (which we didn't need), but it was spacious and well appointed. Excellent experience, overall. The hotel is gorgeous and the ocean views are unbeatable. The property is very well taken care of and the staff were awesome—very friendly and accommodating. Ribeira Grande is a bit remote from Central Ponta Delgada, but everything is far away around the island anyway. A rental car is a must in São Miguel and having a car will make your experience more enjoyable all around.

Nice and clean, spacious apartments. Most of them are in separate houses so it feels very private and calm. Only real complaint is the breakfast, which was poor (small selection and didn't feel fresh -- croissants were probably from yesterday and ham of cheap variety). Since the apartments have kitchens and nice terraces, however, this was only a problem first day before having been to a supermarket. I would also recommend them to get do-not-disturb signs even if the cleaning staff seemed to...
