I was so impressed with this motel. Everything was really clean and the retro vibe was well done and everything was new and maintained. The coffee was good. The breakfast bars were healthy and I would stay here again.

We stayed in the Pee Wee Airstream for a different experience. It was cute and clean; nothing fancy, but we knew that when we booked. Communal bathroom was large and clean. a/C and heat in the trailer was great we were very comfortable. Overall if you’re looking for a basic accommodation in Salida at a reasonable price this is a good choice.

Great spot in Salida, updated rooms that included some humor, quirky decor and paid attention to the details. Great outdoor space with hot tub, hammocks, sitting areas, fire pit, games and social spaces. Staff was responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended.

This is a charming little motel that’s been updated and now presents one of the better values in Salida. Tidy, generally well kept, and has just the right amenities and a helpful staff to make your stay go smoothly.

Amigo is a great spot! We stayed in the Velma Airstream which is clean, minimalist, and tastefully done. We never had to wait for a shared bath/shower and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The shared courtyard was nice to spend time under pines in hammocks. The location is right off of a main road and in an area that is a bit less walkable than we typically prefer but lots of good restaurants and quick access to downtown by car.

I got to step inside on older airstream. That was the experience I wanted. Surprisingly spacious and cool on a warm summer night, though it did rain that evening, which was wonderful to listen to as hit the hull. I had one window opened a crack and it was perfect. Secure, bed was comfortable and clean. There was a mini fridge to put drinks in for the road trip. I however, missed the bit about no bathroom in the airstream, so that was a little adjustment, shared bathroom is locked by code and then the two rooms, super clean and nice, also lockable for those moments. Staff was friendly.

Very cool vintage motor lodge. Very clean, nice staff. The Airstreams are a nice addition, however we stayed in one of the rooms. The rooms have been rehabbed with really nice touches. The only two drawbacks were the lack of a pool, which would have been nice, and the window air conditioner was not adequate for the summer heat. It was in the 80's during the day and the AC couldn't keep up.
