"A wonderful Manor House with views and trees, birds and big Wiltshire skies. Perfect room with an enormous comfortable sleigh bed, sofa and spotless bathroom. Wendy is a perfect host and was so caring of us. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully laid out on a large dining table. "Great little guest house. We had a top floor room for 3, and everything was in the room. Only issue was that the double bed was Farr too soft and uncomfortable, causing my wife and I to roll together in the middle whenever we moved. Breakfast was continental, served in room and was good. "

"Arrived 1 hr earlier than check-in, the hotel accommodated us with our room. Booked an accessibility room. It had a smaller shower than the wet rooms on the ground floor, with no stool to sit on. This has to be requested in the special window when you book, or call ahead and request it. You can also request it at check-in. I just thought it would be there, so went without. "Been coming here for a few years as its such a good location and generally nice hotel. Made the mistake of booking a ground floor room, was lovely having access to the gardens with patio doors but not so much being kept awake by the people in the room above us... literally every conversation, footstep and bedroom gymnastics. The staff were great 10/10. The location is quiet and lovely by the river. Very convenient for walking into town and lots of parking."
