The historic aspect of the hotel is unique and quaint. The proximity to the river, the walking path into town thru the meadows and past gardens is stunning. The vistas of the countryside and flora and fauna were truly spectacular. Staff were helpful, rooms are snug - but clean and comfortable. A memorable stay. Will return & recommend to others. A great base point for visits to local sights such as the Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum castle ruins, Stonehenge, and the New Forest area.

I only had a sausage breakfast roll but it was excellent. I had a room overlooking the river and it was great to have a coffee in the morning watching kingfishers from my room. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful.

We were told this building was 960 years old. It is very delightful and a wonderful walk to town. Dinner was amazing - we had the bang bang chicken and steak frites, plus chocolate mousse. Every bite was fabulous! Kuddos to the chef. I would say the "king" bed is more like a queen in the United States, and there was a lot of pub noise, but it all quieted down after 10:30 - so we slept very well. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We have stayed at The Old Mill may times & since it's changed owners it still provides comfortable, welcoming & cosy accommodation. The breakfast is very good & large, freshly cooked but now quite an expensive extra. On the whole really happy with our stay.

The Old Mill is a lovely old English pub and a leisurely 10 minute walk into Salisbury along the towpath with views to the cathedral and wildlife on the way. The railway station is also an easy 10 minute walk. The staff were great. The locals were friendly too happy to chat in the bar.

The Old Mill is in a very old building with steep and narrow stairs which makes it hard to carry luggage. The hotel sits above a pub which can be noisy. However, the pub closes at 10:30 pm. We enjoyed our stay. The food in the pub was excellent. We also enjoyed the walk from the pub to downtown Salisbury on a country/city path. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

The Old Mill car park is a very short walk to the hotel. the hotel room we had was on the first floor and was lovely. the only problem I had was that the stairs were very narrow and close together, making it harder to walk up. The staff were very polite and helpful. I would stay there again as the location is perfect and the 15 minute walk into town is stunning.
