"Creaking floor in an attic room wasn’t great. Nice view from the window, if you were very small. Tricky staircase to deal with and very low ceilings in corridor. Looked like a fabulous room was unoccupied on ground floor but we weren’t offered it (even for a price) Hostess nice and helpful but no English. Continental breakfast was nice. Great location"

"Considering it is a place out in the country, with no stores or cafes nearby. I believe there should be some coffee/tea and especially water in the rooms. It was a very warm few days (over 90 degrees F/30 degrees C) and there was no water provided, and there were no glasses in the bathroom. The internet does not work well and I had to teach an online class which could not happen. Do not expect to connect to the internet. "

"Positives - pleasant location. Room fine. Clean and tidy. Negatives- not as advertised. No bar, deli, swimming pool, garden, tables and chairs, or atmosphere. We discovered on arrival most facilities were closed because of change of ownership. So if you plan to stay soon, be warned…currently not what it says on the tin! A 5 mile drive for something to eat in the evening was the last thing we expected. "

"Had a great one night stay here. When we arrived we were greeted in a very friendly manner and were soon offered two bikes to explore the local area. Despite this being a bed and breakfast, we were offered an evening meal. The proprietors made changes to accommodate my pescatarian diet. Wonderful meal with most of the products grown in their garden. We asked to see their dog, and we’re soon throwing a ball for “Sister”, their black Scottish Terrier. "The cottage is nice but not cleaned on a daily basis which is strange and not ideal. The bedsheets are not smooth quite rough and therefore not comfortable. Quite expensive for a bed and breakfast at the middle of nowhere "

"Celine's property and lodging is just great, very comfortable room and bed, strong wifi, separate shower and toilette rooms en suite, and a very nice continental breakfast featuring Celine's brioche, yogurt, and confitures. Security is strong and parking is right outside the house. On top of all that, Celine is a very friendly host and is both accommodating and full of information about the area. We found her by accident, and we look forward to staying with her again."
