"SureStay is a hotel that we will be keeping on our places to stay while in Castlegar! The rooms were updated, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked like a charm which was great as the temperatures were heating up during our stay. The staff were top notch - friendly, super accommodating and very welcoming - and any time we needed anything, they were happy to oblige really quickly (soap refill, extra towels and garbage bags, etc.). We liked SureStay so much that we decided to stay an extra day so we could get another day of riding in the area!
There were only a couple suggestions for improvement on an otherwise great few days - the complimentary breakfast was a bonus but some of the items should be checked for best before dates or freshness (yogurt/muffins) and the tables should be periodically wiped down (or provide cleaning materials for guests to do it themselves?).
Overall, it's a great place to stay for a few days and we will be sure to book it the next time we're in Castlegar."
