My wife and I had a nice time staying at this property. Comfortable layout and the location was excellent - close to the mountains as well as downtown.

If I could have given this 2.5 stars, I would. When booking this property, I believed I would have access to the entire house; however, this unit is in the basement. It was clean and in a good location, but the service was not great and the wifi was not paid for. When I tried to contact the property manager about this problem, he stonewalled me. He also was generally unresponsive and would take a while to respond to my messages. Also, on the day we were to check out, he did not give us check-out instructions until 2 hours before the check-out time. We had already left at this point several hours earlier. I booked this property for 4 people for 4 nights, but for some reason, the listing only said I booked it for 1 person. When I tried to tell him and ask about changing it to four people (the day I booked), I received no response. When I asked again on the day we were arriving, he told me that 4 people would be extremely tight although the listing states it should sleep 5 people. Additionally, I was expecting two private bedrooms because of what the listing states, but the second bedroom is the living room with a pullout couch. Overall, this is not a bad place to stay, and we enjoyed our time there, but I wish the listing was more clear and accurate of the actual unit. Additionally, the communication with the property manager could have been much better.

As we got to the property I was trying to locate the access code which an email stated I should have received which I did not. As well as instructions to find a code somewhere on the property. I than proceeded to call the property manager and it went straight to voicemail 4 times. There was someone renting the upstairs I knocked on the door and they said they couldn't help me. I called Vrbo customer service who also tried to contact the property owner with no avail. I am super frustrated as it was my wedding I had a melt down. Thank goodness we live close by. And were able to afford other arrangments.

The place was clean and nicely decorated. The owners were kind and helpful when I couldn't use the code to unlock the door. I loved the kitchen! The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of warm blankets in case we needed them. The only issue we had was we did not realize that it was a basement unit and that the stairs down to the unit were very dark and it was hard to see going up and down them. I would think this is a great place for a young couple. it was just difficult for us due to our age and some physical limitations. .

Exactly what we needed. Clean, quiet, a nice kitchen and close to all the ski resorts. Hosts gave us ideas on wear to eat and places to go. No bells and whistles, but everything we needed. Would definitely use again,

It is located in basement with very low ceiling. There is an air purifier in bedroom (the owner warned it cannot be turned off). It is noisy during night. One time, I had trouble to enter the property using the access code. I called the owner and left a voice message. He has never called back.

If you have children, do not stay here. I don't think the owners have children and understand that allowing them to stay with a white carpet, is going to be dirty by the end of the week. My kids did the best not to eat, drink, or wear shoes on the carpet. So the additional $100 charge for 'stains' on the carpet was 100% unnecessary. Also, no lighting outside and barely and shoveling or salting was done for our safety.

Upon arrival, I was expecting 2 bedrooms as the listing states. There is one bedroom with a door and a living room with a foldout couch. Not a bedroom, no door, no privacy. There was not a coffee maker, a sharp enough knife to cut anything, 2 wash cloths for 5 people and we were offered a trundle bed for our 5th person which didn't arrive until the 4th night of our 5 night stay. The property manager was very nice and quick to respond.

Totally adorable and super peaceful VRBO. Highly recommended!! Just to note - access to this property is in the basement accessible near the front door. That description would be super helpful at check in.

We chose this location because the rate was reasonable, there was enough space to spread out a bit, and it was centrally located to a few places we planned to go (north to Lagoon and some places in SLC, and south to the aquarium and family). A few things to keep in mind if you want to stay here - 1) It is the downstairs/basement of a 2-story home, but it has a totally separate entrance. You'll be able to hear quiet walking above you sometimes but nothing crazy. 2) The ceilings are pretty low which isn't a problem for average-height people but could be if you are very tall. Especially the bathroom. I'm 5' 9" and could touch the ceiling in the shower with my head if I stood on my tiptoes. 3) Bring bottled water if you don't like tap water. There is a grocery store very close for anything you might want to pick up.
