"A short 3 day, 2 nite stay in early September. Leaves were still green, and weather was barely cool. Beauty of nature surrounded us. Restful with no noise of traffic, trains or planes. We were definitely, OFF THE GRID and loved every minute. Hiking Trail well kept. Hosts were were very hospitable."

"We recently stayed at the parsonage, three generations, and enjoyed it immensely. Everything was exactly as stated in the description. It was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host gave clear directions throughout the whole booking process. We enjoyed a fire by the amazing "babbling brook", and my grandchildren had so much fun playing air hockey in the basement. "It was our first trip to Abingdon and we loved it. The cottage was so comfy and close to everything. The cottage was neat, clean and had everything we needed and we will stay there again on our next visit. Plan to return for more plays at the Barter and more rides on the Virginia Creeper and visits to the shops. "
