"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also good. And there was a pad and pen in the room, which I haven't seen a hotel in years, so that was nice. There were a few minor issues: The desk lamp and coffee maker weren't plugged in, and I had to plug them in myself to use them. Same with the clock radio. It's nice that they had one (most hotels don't these days), and it was plugged in, but the plug wasn't working. I found a plug that was working, plugged it in there and set the clock myself. Finally, there was a door to the outside of the hotel right near my room, which made it convenient to go out to my car, but my key didn't activate the door when I tried to get back in, so I had to go back through the lobby. Like I said, a few minor issues. Maintenance just needs to check those things out."

The Caboose is so appealing and the wooden booth offers a fantastic space to talk, write, eat, you name it day or night. I highly recommend the Escape VRBO in Saluda, the next time you need a midpoint to relax and recharge and all the extra stuff is 30 minutes away in every direction."
