The cabin was amazing! The property was well worth the drive up the mountain. We were looking for a cabin secluded and that's exactly what we got. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Looking forward to going back!

We and our dog were stranded without power and water and limited supplies. But the hosts, the Paris's, went above and beyond to check our safety and even was able to get us safely off the mountain and escorted us part of the way to our destination. Even offered the use of a personal vehicle. We will definitely be coming back to experience the tranquility of the cabin and the compassion of the hosts when the area recovers from the devastation.

We wanted a quiet and relaxing weekend together and this property was perfect. Loved the wrap around porch and the interior decor. Was so pet friendly for our four legged pack leader. Saw an abundance of wildlife, even a couple of black bears (from a safe distance). The dirt/gravel road was in good shape for an SUV. Host was very accommodating and responsive. It was such a perfect weekend-peaceful and beautiful with the leaves at their peak colors. We definitely will be back!

What a great house to stay in for Thanksgiving. Well stocked kitchen and supplies (towels, hot pads, trash bags). Enjoyed watching the wildlife - mainly deer. Road up was a little rough but since we planned to stay in, that was ok.

Absolutely what we were looking for. Super secluded in on a beautiful mountain with awesome views. Host was extremely helpful and readily available when we had any questions. Helped out with some last minute accommodations as well.

Renting the property went well. The only downfall was that the road needed to be graded in several locations. Our mini/vans hitch drug in about 3 places. Overall the cabin and location was outstanding.

Our family really enjoyed our stay! The house is amazing and has the best porch in the world! Our kids loved the drive up to the house and the great exploring opportunities around the house. The house was very well equipped and the owners were very easy to communicate with. We saw a black bear our first night and more fireflies than we have seen in a long time. Overall a great home and beautiful location!

The property is a great place to stay if you want privacy and to be surrounded by nature. The cabin is very clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the porch, spent most of our time out there. I would recommend anyone visiting the cabin to get your groceries before you go up the mountain, it's quite removed from any stores and remember to take bug spray and a jacket as the nights get cool if out on the porch. The owners are very responsive to answering any questions you may have.

We had a great vacation staying in the Paris cabin. The seclusion of the cabin made it perfect. Turkeys calling and deer sightings galore. We also had a visit from Redheaded woodpecker he was beautiful. Cabin is very nice with the porch you can't go wrong.

The cabin itself was beautiful but... the description said it was 9.9 miles from Lake Lure Beach. When we arrived we realized we were almost an hour to drive to the beach and was very misleading. This was very inconvenient!!! The reason we chose this cabin was because it was listed tbe close to Lake Lure where we were doing an event that weekend. We asked the owner about the distance and she said it must be by the way the crow flies (measuring the distance). Secondly in order to get to the cabin after turning off the paved road you have to drive thru a creek and up a very steep one lane dirt road for almost a mile that winds thru the mountains. The road washed out in many places, if we had brought our car there would be no way we could have made it.

Absolutely perfect place for us. Maybe the best place we have stayed at anywhere in the world. It was that good. Super clean and stocked with everything you need it for. Room for three couples or a full family. Located right in between Asheville and Greenville, which was perfect for us. Tons of great wineries everywhere. Cabin is located at the end of a long, finely manicured gravel road on top of a mountain. We made it up easily with our BMW X3 and could have made it with our Chevy Malibu with no problems. Kristy was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Willl be back!!

What a great place off the beaten path to enjoy a little down time from life. This place is exactly as described in the listing. This rustic cabin, with all the luxury of home, is at the end of the mountain road. The wrap around porch was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. With deer feeding, turkeys gobbling, and the squirrels playing in the big hardwood trees. You would be hard pressed to find a better place in the outdoors. The only sounds besides the sounds of nature was an occasional gunshot in the distance echoing through the woods. On a clear night you could almost reach out and touch the stars. The cabin itself was so comfortable with everything needed for our stay. Thank You for providing such a great place. We are already planning a return trip maybe in the fall when the leaves are turning colors. Thanks again for a great week.
