Overall is good, but the hotel needs some updates. They should put more elevators since is a big hotel, There is no parking available You can park at the street which during the day could be a pain in the ass. But overall breakfast was good

Buy mattress sheets!!

Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE. The budget-priced Rede Andrade Barra redefines "you get what you pay for." Let me start with what's good about it: -LOCATION: It faces one of the most popular beaches in Salvador, in a neighborhood that is roughly the equivalent of Ipanema. -BREAKFAST: Every morning there is a free, plentiful, typically Brazilian breakfast spread. -GYM: The fitness room is well-stocked enough for you to get a decent workout. -FRONT-DESK STAFF: Mostly efficient and sincere. It's not their fault that the place is such a mess. They do a lot of apologizing. Because it's cheap, Rede Andrade Barra was packed during my eight-day stay (which started on the last day of Carnaval 2025). But it's clearly gone to seed. Among the charms I encountered: -The advertised WiFi didn't work. Sometimes it flickered on weakly for a minute. If you have business to do (or even need WiFi in order to call Ubers and such), you'll be furious. I was. -One of the two client elevators was out of order. The other moved so agonizingly slowly (the cleaning staff uses it but shouldn't) that I and a lot of other guests were reduced to taking the stairs in order to avoid five-minute rides. And I was on the 11th floor. -Graying, overwashed sheets with holes in them. No fitted sheets. Frayed towels. -The soap dish in my shower was falling out of the wall. -The hallways are un-air-conditioned and hotter than hell. -The place looks dirty and run-down. Need I say more?

The people at the reception were not very nice. They were not very helpful. The elevators stopped working a few times and people got trapped in the elevators. He was the same exact breakfast every day, etc

Cheguei no hotel, jĆ” me impressionei com a localizaĆ§Ć£o muito boa. Mas dentro do hotel jĆ” comeƧouā€¦ Atendimento horrĆ­vel logo de cara, passamos mais de 45 minutos na recepĆ§Ć£o sĆ³ pra liberarem a entrada. Chegando no quarto, que era pra tĆ” limpo. O quarto sĆ³ a poeira, chĆ£o cheio de terraā€¦ Eu nunca vi tanta BARATA na minha vida como nesse hotel!!! Imundice terrĆ­vel. A noite ainda fui com minha esposa na cozinha pra esquentar Ć”gua pra minha filha tomar um leite, a cozinha imunda e uma funcionĆ”ria super mal educada que nos tratou super mal falando que a gente tinha invadido a cozinha sem permissĆ£o. Mas enfim. Vou resumir porque se eu for falar o tanto de defeito desse hotel vai sair um texto enorme daqui. Resumindo, o hotel Ć© a pura imundice, horrĆ­vel, sem conforto nenhum pra descansar, limpeza terrĆ­vel, a funcionĆ”ria estava simplesmente lavando o pano de chĆ£o sujo na pia do banheiro onde os hĆ³spedes escovam os dentes!!! Um absurdo. Se a defesa civil bater, tenho certeza que fecham as portas!
