Room was small, but quite lovely and had all of the amenities. Don't skip the breakfast -- one of our favorite meals in Austria was the breakfast at this hotel.

The hotel is centrally located within a short walk to many sites in New town as well as those in Old Town. Our room was comfortable in an old world style. Great breakfast every day with nice hot coffee! Very accommodating staff as well.

The old hotel has such an old world charm and the location is absolutely perfect for exploring the city! The train station is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel making it easy to take day trips by rail. There is a park just across from the hotel front door where you can sit and watch everyone moving about. Plenty of cafes and restaurants all around. You’re right in the middle of everything you need. Very helpful staff!

Location is good. Staff was nice. But it was an average rundown hotel with limited facilities. We did not even have a tea bag in our room. Room service food was terrible and they charged us 10 Euros for hot water! Overall I won't come back. There are multiple better options around and this place was overpriced.

We booked one of the most expensive rooms and they put us in an outdated room with no view, one towel and the flag pole banging with the wind all night. The front desk lady and manager the next day were rude and didn’t seem to care. Truly one of the worst hotels we have stayed in period but especially for $1200 a night.

My husband an I stayed here for 3 days. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Atrium yellow Shakesphere room. We had a view of the castle, city, love lock bridge and Mirabel gardens from our terrace. The buses stop right in front of the hotel and shopping and restaurants are close by within walking distance. We really e joyed our stay at this quaint hotel. The only negative is the bed was a little too firm for me and they only give you one room key which is required to lock the room. It makes it difficult when one person wants to stay and one wants to go shopping.

They do not have parking on site as advertised. Have valet 60 pet day and a discount for self parking down the street. They give you a voucher for a 12.00 off but it didn't work. Maid forgot to restock water in room. Got one bottle from bar and 10.00 added to bill. On checkout i asked for the 12. 00 for parking and 10.00 dollars for water and they would not do it. Overall great hotel but need to correct their advertising about having parking because they don't actually have any

Bristol hotel should invest in training their personnel to smile. This is my first time in my travel experience with five start hotel that not a single front desk person has ever smiled. You get there and the atmosphere is horrible. We felt intimidated to ask questions. As far as the accommodation goes, you are paying for the espectacular view and location, the hotel itself is very charming and had a lot of history. The breakfast is somehow mediocre. But the restaurant is really good, doesn’t have too much variety but whatever we tried was good. As for the rooms, the view from the third floor was amazing. On the negative side, theAC doesn’t go below 20C. The bathroom is pretty but it is very hot like if they have a constant heater on, so get ready for a sauna. Beds are old and you feel wires on it. The desk leather chair had black mold on the back, totally unacceptable. But overall, it was a good experience.
