Staff was very helpful right from the check in time to help the luggage and on checkout they were very helpful to get the lunch packet to go as we had to checkout very early. They also provided free bus tickets for the days we stayed. The building itself is unique with great wood work, very spacious and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast was served with lots of options and at a scenic river view area!

This was such a unique experience. You can tell there is so much history in the hotel. Even the key chains were from the 1700's. Very cool experience.

Very nice hotel set within historical buildings that are hundreds of years old. Rooms are spacious with air conditioning and have modern amenities. Literally in the Altstadt and mere steps away from almost everything.

Beautiful historic hotel centrally located in Aldstat. Friendly staff, comfortable beds. Walking distance from many of the sights we wanted to see. Easy access to transit for sights further afield. Would definitely stay again!

It was a solid stay and you cannot beat the location. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. I wish they did have an actual real bed for a third person rather than a sofa bed. Yet it was actually a decently comfortable sofa bed, so it worked out. It was quite spending though in terms for what you get but I think it had to do with the summer festival and also a Supercup soccer final. We would consider it again.

This property was absolute perfection and it starts with the people there. Everyone was so friendly from the front desk to the bellmen to the staff at restaurants and breakfast. Not to mention the the location is amazing, right in the heart of everything but where you can easily get dropped off by car at the door and grab a bus right outside or walk directly into the heart of old town. The room was great as well, very haitoric, large, and with comfortable bedding. Of my month in Europe this might be my favorite hotel.

Our family of 6 adults absolutely adored this hotel. It was clean, attractive, historical, and very comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful, even providing us with directions to various places and making dinner reservations for us. The location is stunning and the breakfast room has a lovely view of the river and some beautiful old properties; the building has a very old Austrian history. The daily breakfast (which is included) was delightful- lots of options and high quality. The location is fabulous- close to shopping, restaurants, and bus transportation. It has a small coffee shop which opens onto a main square - so charming. I can't recommend it more highly. We will not soon forget it!
