"This hotel is really interesting and quirky but its location in the middle of 10 car yards and rooms 110, 220, 310 upwards being on a major road into Ipoh makes it untenable unless you’re deaf. Honestly we found from dusk until 4am the noise from trucks, loud motorbikes and traffic to be unbearable and I am 60% deaf in one ear. "

"Staff there quite friendly but the hotel is a bit old and limited facilities and electrical appliances. No fridge and no lift. Not convenient if you caring a lot of luggage. "

"Everything about this hotel is awesome. Except for.... you must make sure you tell the Grab driver the correct hotel. There are 2 locations of 1969s. lol.... I booked the wrong one and went to the wrong one. They are so nice that they helped me transferred my room to the correct location from the incorrect one. "
