"Sami Beach was excellent. Quite a long drive from the airport but well worth it. The views from the hotel both out to sea and inland over the forests and mountain are wonderful. The hotel was very welcoming and friendly. Sami is the best town on this lovely island. Quiet out of season but lots to see and do, and great food. "

"Beautifully decorated apartment in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood opposite the waterfront. Good cafe and restaurant very close by and also kids playground. The Melissani cave is a few mins walk away. The suites are very clean and at a high standard, there is a pool which is nice and the sea across from the apartment is stunningly clear with lots of fish and sponges. If you like to snorkel there are fresh water springs emerging from a cave just off the beach and it’s magical to snorkel there (but the spring water is cold!). It is about 15mins to Agia Efimia and 30mins to Myrtos beach. Also you can walk to Sami along the waterfront path. It’s a fabulous location and I would definitely stay here again. We had a one bedroom junior suite. Fantastic!"

"Hotel room was lovely and clean and service. Overall good ! If only pick at the safety of our room for children in the mezzanine room. The stairs had rope as decoration but not secure enough to use as a handrail and upstairs where the children’s room the window didn’t lock !! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and the team were welcoming and understanding of a loud 8 and 3 year old "

"We had a lovely time at Greka Ionian Suites. Aphrodite couldn’t have been more helpful and gave us loads of information about best beaches, restaurants etc. Our apartment was comfortable, very well designed, with lots of storage space and a balcony overlooking the sea. We’re looking forward to going back already!"

"Pleased with the apartment but arriving after dark found the absence of proper entry instructions very frustrating. The complex was named Meliti which had not been mentioned at all and there was no mention/signs of Jacaranda. Mercifully we had grandchildren with us and they were able to explore [which we couldn't have done] and they eventually located the apartment. We had been advised that we didn't need a car and that there were shops within walking distance. The 2 mini markets were shut for the season making a car essential for us. Even the local taverna closed before we left. There were plenty of towels which was excellent. The absence of any form of enclosure to the shower rendered the bathroom floor a nightmare. We also had trouble with the slats of the very small double bed; these came adrift one night which was disconcerting - we are NOT overweight - and discovered that some fixings were missing. Luckily, our grandson was able to make things adequately secure."
