"Unit was very bright with a lot of windows, ceiling fans and AC for comfort in the warm weather. We stayed for 1 week to visit our granddaughter and family. Location was close to most everything. Parking is a bit of a challenge as it is on the street, but worked out. Host was very responsive, as we needed a bath mat for slippery tub, he immediately went out and got one for us. He also left us a lovely bottle of wine and nuts at check in!"

Close to downtown Sonoma, and with easy access to Hwy 121 so as to visit Napa, Petaluma, and the San Francisco Bay Area, it is the perfect location for that special getaway. "The unit was lovely, clean, cozy and peaceful. Amazing deck and hot tub, with views / sunsets across the bay. And, I think we were very fortunate since the houses/units on both sides of us were unoccupied, which made the space and setting that much more relaxing and felt like all our own for a weekend. Easy parking right in front. One very minor downside for us is that you cannot walk anywhere from here - it's a very narrow stretch of the road with little/no walking space - so we had to drive...

"We spent three nights at the Admiral’s Quarters. It is a great place to stay while enjoying the Pt. Reyes/Tomales Bay area. The location is close to many attractions and has a beautiful view of the bay, particularly at sunset..The interior is charming and includes everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hosts, Fred and Karen, are good communicators and a pleasure to work with. This was our third stay, and we look forward to returning."

"The unit itself was very nice, well appointed and in a great location. It had everything we needed to cook and bake. The fresh loaf of local bread was a really nice surprise. At the time of our stay (May 2024) the staircase down to the unit was under construction. The only way down to the unit was a dangerous trail with wobbly steps. This was a challenging climb in and out, but with luggage, it was a nightmare."

"I enjoyed my stay at Grace's rental. The unit was very clean and had easy parking right in front. It's up high on the hill with beautiful views of Mt. Tam. Grace was easy to reach. Just a note to anyone with mobility issues-there is a steep staircase inside so could be problematic for some. Otherwise the coffee provided was great to have, beautiful skylights and very bright in the unit. Very cute. Would stay here again. Thank you."

"It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!"

"This is our second time renting Linda’s cottage this spring & it’s such a treasure! We thoroughly enjoy the convenience of having the beach, grocery store, restaurant, bakery, snack bar & playground within walking distance. This was our grandson’s first trip to the beach & it was absolutely perfect! At 63 years old I even boogie boarded again! Such a great break from the hot Sacramento Valley."

"We are locals and this was the perfect getaway to our favorite beach in the area. Easily walkable to restaurants, the beach, and one of our top hikes (Matt Davis). Perfect for a family of 4. It's part of a hub of cottages and I would love to look into booking out a block of them with families/friends. Property interior is super cute and newly renovated. Can't wait to return!"

"This was such a great way to wind down while taking in the beauty of Sonoma. We had such a great time with the animals while learning about how the owner gives back to the community and takes care of orphan animals. Highly recommend for anyone that loves animals and loves a country setting."
