Nice Stay at Stone Oak

It was a short two night stay. Did not have a chance to use the pool or hot tub because of constant threat of thunderstorms. Front desk staff super friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping staff efficient and responsive. Hot complimentary breakfast adequate and decent variety. All day coffee bar nice addition. Nice Stay at Stone Oak

I normally do not say nothing negative but this hotel smelled like pee and wet dog through out the hallways and when we enter the room it also smell dirty, it was dusty and the carpet near the fire place was missing a piece. I had driven 12 hours and I did not expect to walk into this hotel. I had picked this hotel because I have stay in previous ones like this one but I never had this experience. I had to check out the next day and still got charge for their fees for canceling but I was not going to stay there with my family.

We had cockroaches in the room and there were exposed carpet nails where the carpet and kitchen flooring came together. Tired facility in need of repairs. Staff service was very good though.

location was good because you were around food within the walking distance and things to do. we had issues with a roach in one of our rooms. we also checked out of a room that due to level of membership would automatically refund the following day we had booked but the front desk guy didn’t check us out. he also didn’t even acknowledge when we stated there was roaches in one of the rooms. the location is fine but customer service was definitely lacking in the simplest way. we don’t need to be catered to but if someone says they have roaches in a room, you should at least acknowledge, apologize and seem like you care about the cleanliness of your establishment.

Nice stay. There were a couple of issues but the staff did address them and they were helpful. Just a note the king size bed feels like a "hotel king" and a little smaller than standard.

Home for the holidays.

This hotel is older and run down. Rooms are in good shape for thr most part but wear and tear on furniture and bathroom items. I was there for a week and only got my room cleaned once even though they were supposed to clean it ever other day. I had to go to the front desk to get them to clean it that one time. Hotel staff was very friendly during my interactions.

Room was clean and comfortable! Kitchen was great with all amenities. Pool was great!! Breakfast was hot and included spinach cheese quiche gluten free oatmeal and fresh fruits. Barb was a wonderful hostess! She was the heart and soul of this property!! We felt very welcomed!! She brought us pitcher of water to dinner table and surprised us with fresh chocolate chip cookies!! Robert maintained a clean surrounding and always offered us a genuine smile! It felt like home!! Will definitely come back!!!

The property was recommended to us as it is close to my sister's house. However, there are other properties that are just as close. Our room smelled. Bathtub was full of water when we checked in. Bathroom floor had muddy footprints when we checked in. On the day of cleaning, room still smelled after cleaning and it didn't look like the floor was vacuumed. I am sorry to say that this hotel ruined Marriott for us and do not plan on staying at another Marriott again.
