"This is the perfect last minute stay before your flight the next morning. It's an older hotel, clean with all the basic amenities. It provided an airport shuttle to the airport which is what was most convenient because we returned our car rental the night before. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The price was right!"

"Good food and microbrew beers at the restaurant. Shuttle to airport was on time and ready. I will stay again for the night before my flight."

"They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!"

"The property itself was great. It was just for 1 night so we were close to the airport. However finding the property was difficult. The directions weren’t the clearest and gos put us down the street. We were able to contact owner and eventually found the place. It has a small sign and at night was hard to see. The place was clean and met our needs. "

"This was our second time staying here and we love this place! Staff is very helpful, and made the effort to communicate with us, using our very limited Spanish. Trees and flowers are beautiful here. Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. We love staying in this place and know that the staff takes great pride in keeping the natural beauty of Costa Rica, and providing excellent service."
