"Wow!!!! We have just returned from an amazing holiday at La Escribana!!I booked this villa for 15 of us (9 adults and 6 children) for 5 nights for my husband’s 50th birthday celebration and we had a brilliant time. The booking process was seamless and the host was responsive and very helpful. The house is surrounded by lush greenery and a 10 min walk into town though a steep climb for a bit so might not be suitable for all.The house is cosy and tastefully decorated with multiple spaces to relax including outdoors. The kitchen and dining area was the hub for us all to gather together whilst we did some cooking. There are supermarkets in town and Trady’s will deliver! There is a great butchers for Iberian meats and we bought some yummy stuff for my husband’s birthday barbecue party in the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need to have a very comfortable stay. Bedrooms were comfortable with big beds, storage space and most with en-suites. The pool was big enough for us all and cleaned regularly. There is a room outside which holds loads of toys and a washing machine/dryer which again made it feel like a home away from home!The children had an amazing time with access to games, even hide and seek in the massive gardens!Lola and Fernando are the caretakers and were fantastic and very responsive via WhatsApp.Constantina is a quaint village with bars and cafes and we even did a day trip to Seville. La Escribana did not disappoint! :)"

"Un completo calvario. La casa tienen numerables deficiencias, de las cuales el propietario (Joaquín) es consciente y las obvia a la hora de hablar con los inquilinos.Contamos mas de 20 panales al rededor de la parra y los arboles de la piscina. Algo que somos consciente de que en el campo hay avispas, pero no a ese nivel y mas cuando tienes una casa que la alquilas turísticamente.... Podrían haber hecho algo para quitarlos, no pudimos estar en la zona de la piscinaPor otro lado nada mas bajarnos del coche, uno de los perros de la casa mató a una rata delante nuestra y a los pocos minutos uno de nosotros tuvo que matar a otra con un palo que corría por el jardín dirección a meterse en la casa. El problema de las ratas no queda ahí, otro de los días de noche y estando todos en la piscina, uno de nosotros nota algo en la espalda, cuando se da la vuelta rápidamente es una rata que se había metido en la piscina y se le había subido. Junto a ella otra mas por el borde de la piscina. Tuvimos que matarlas sin saber cuantas han merodeado por el agua mientras no hemos estado en la zona de la piscina. (en total 4 ratas).*Frigo Roto*En el congelador un jabalí muerto con la sangre*Baño atascado y sin poder usarlo*Y lo mas grave... Un armero en el cuartillo de la cocina con la munición y todo (COMPLETAMENTE PROHIBIDO EN UNA CASA TURISTICA).Considero que esta casa no se puede alquilar ni darle difusión bajo ningún concepto.... y mas si pueden ir menores."

"It is located at a very beautiful village. The owner is a very kind and really nice gentleman.The place is very clean and traditionally spanish designed.Decoration itself was very interesting .That polite and kind owner prepared a very special breakfast every morning. We love to have the chance to stay at that place again although we live very far away."
