"Basically all good for the price. Breakfast was satisfactory. My four stars more towards the air-conditioning (we are at ground floor so having the window wide opened without any latch is not really an option, we tried variety settings but at the end decided to go with only fans mode), as well as the shower head for our room. Hotel is well located (just take the escalator inside the shopping mall opposite station to go up hill, then turn right), coin laundrette is opposite hotel. Thank you for accommodating us."

"We loved staying here and the staff was amazing. Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to enjoy being outside in their gorgeous gardens much but we did have some spectacular views of Siena when we did. We didn't realize when we booked how far from city centre we would be, but the good thing was that the bus picked us up at the bottom of the driveway and for 1.70 each took us to the city centre . Also, even though the loft in our unit was beautiful, i didn't expect that the washroom would be downstairs which wasn't so convenient in the middle of the night. Breakfast buffet was great and cappuccino and café latte made for us upon request, was very delicious"

"This is a great location in Siena, close to all the sights. Just a note that there is no elevator, but the front desk man kindly carried my luggage up to the 2nd floor which was great. My only challenge was that the room was very warm (25.3C), and there was no working fan to move air around. I did ask at the front desk, and apparently the system had not been activated, and the AC was not yet running. Therefore I had to have my windows open all night and there was road noise. My friend had a lovely room on the first floor at the back of the building with a garden patio and we enjoyed that. They have an excellent breakfast. I would stay here again but would make sure they had fans or AC in the room."

"We had the loveliest stay in Hotel Casolare! From the minute we arrived the staff were warm and welcoming and couldn't be more helpful! We stayed in the Cipresso apartment and it was perfect for the 4 of us staying with a well equipped kitchenette and a lovely patio area to sit out on! All very clean and fresh. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant on our first night and breakfasts were lovely with plenty of selection and so fresh! Our favourite part was the bruschetta bar with lots of selection of toppings, all gorgeous! The pool area was clean and peaceful and we were able to get drinks from the bar to have there during the day. This was our second time staying here after a stay in 1998 when the hotel was just opened and it had been somewhere we always wanted to come back to! We will definitely be back again xx"

"This hotel is stunning, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and its the first hotel I've stayed at where they follow their own rule of not replacing towels if you keep them hung up! My only complaint was that the pool chairs photographed were not set up even though it was a warm May weekend but perhaps these are only set up in the summer. "
