"If you want to experience what a magical village of Ajijic has to offer look no further than La Nueva Posada . The rooms are large, the beds and bedding luxurious and the outside garden dining option is beautiful. The staff is well trained, friendly and seem genuinely happy to work there. The atmosphere is positive and friendly as to step into the grand entryway . It is historic in design but with all the modern conveniences like AC, high speed internet , cleanliness and amazing food. "

"The property location and D’Shanti restaurant was beautiful. The building and especially the pool needs repairs and maintenance. The pool was cloudy with hundreds of tiles missing. The building has deferred maintenance. With a bit of attention this is a beautiful property."

"It was a pleasant stay. The staff and the room service were excellent. The only thing I would say could be improved are the room’s lcds need to be up to 2024 standards, i.e have Netflix and YouTube options as opposed to HBO, Max etc.. for a more customized experience. Even lacking that, it still deserves the 5 Star rating. "
