A seed bank tucked away at the end of a dead end road outside of Santo Domingo. This was started by the US Forest Service and is now run by the local government. They are providing seeds and seedlings for reforestation across the island, including Haiti.

"I am not really the fussy type so i let alot of things slide that normally would cause me to leave hotel room. Between the lack of cleanliness and the bugs it was hard to sleep. I never unpacked because i didnt want to take anything home with me. The TV doesnt work in the living room or master bedroom. The jacuzzi looked fun but with the home being so gross i was afraid to get in."

"The property was advertised as premium property great part of town. But when we arrived we noticed security bars all over the windows and doors and my partner felt very uncomfortable staying there. We immediately told the property manager that we didn't even want to stay one night but was convinced to stay one night but my partner was so uncomfortable that she went to bed fully dressed and couldn;t sleep at all that night. We left the next day but now property manager will not respond or return...

"Primero quiero darle las gracias a la señora Mirelis por haberme dado la oportunidad de haberme hospedar en su propiedad. Definitivamente es un lugar muy pero muy hermoso limpio tranquilo y organizado. Mirelis es una persona muy atente a cualquier cosita que necesite, responde de inmediato a los mensajes y le da el 110% a sis huespedes. "Very peaceful and relaxing, nice pool and barbecue area, we enjoyed it as a family!! The host was always available for any questions, very pleasant and helpfull. The villa does need a little tlc on the outside, and there was no wifi as advertised, but who cares when you have a pool!! I enjoyed it!!"

"I absolutely loved my stay at El Embajador Hotel in Santo Domingo! The hotel is very nice, exceptionally clean, and the service was great. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with plenty of options to enjoy. The location is perfect , situated in a safe, upscale area of the capital, with several great local restaurants within walking distance, which was a huge plus. Everything about my stay exceeded expectations, and I will definitely be returning whenever I’m back in Santo Domingo! "
