"Friendly reception, great bike parking, clean and comfortable room, great shower; couldn’t ask for better after a long day of cycling."

"It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area."

"Beautiful, historic hotel. Only thing missing was coffee in the rooms.,"

"Extremely helpful owner. "

"it has an incredible view of the river and wineries, nice walkable trails,...a great "get away from it all". just note that you will not be able to park close to your room, so pack light!"

"This hotel is so unique. It’s a place to stay if you are interested in Spanish history and would like to stay somewhere that honors the past. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable about the pazo’s history both of the family that owned it and general history of the area. There are quite alot of cats and a few dogs around so it may not be the place for you if you aren’t keen on animals."

"This is one of the best places to stay in O Carbalino and I would recommend it any time. It is smack in the center of the city and walking distance to everything you want to see (and eat) in this magical town. "

"Lo único bueno que tenía era que la comida era bastante aceptable muy económico y no había ruido en las habitaciones Por lo demás las camas muy incómodas una de ellas hacía mucho ruido y la habitación es que no tenía ni una mesa para dejar los bolsos o un neceser o las llaves si quiera"
