"In a great location to tour down town San Diego."

"My room was pretty rundown, multiple gouges and stains on the walls, found another hotel key that was not mine that the cleaning staff missed, one set of my sheets had a gnarly stain on them too after being changed by the cleaning staff. The lounging cushions by the pool are really rough and looks like they are sewn together by staff instead of being replaced. The WiFi was abysmal too, barely 10mbs down which made working difficult. My tv was not able to be connected to by anything via hdmi. For the price and competition nearby it was disappointing, can’t recommend if you’re staying for business. One of my colleagues rooms had no hot water in his shower as well. "

"Rooms are okay, ammenities are simple, some Front Desk Staff are veru inneficient, my key was not working, and after a long time, they realized it was the door lock with no battery, I had to make a line everytime my key didn't work which was a long wait, concierge was never there, and when they finally called security it took way longer that it shoukd've have, non o fthem where nice or empathic about it, the ladie was just like, make the line and wait, so i had to wait a couple of times more than 15-20 mins for them to change my keys, and after 4 times of that waste of time, they realized it was the door lock, I wouldn't have a problem if they were just nice and have someone who helped and solve the problem quicker. "

"Cheap thin towels in bathroom. Shower floor extremely slippery. Front desk kept giving out wrong info. Seemed bothered by us answering straightforward questions. Pluses: great view and location. Servers during breakfast and valet staff were very nice and helpful."

"The hotel is very nice and clean. The issues are parking is very limited. We had to park on the street. The area is has a large population of homeless. Normally Best Western has breakfast as part of the stay but you have to pay extra at this hotel. "
