The home is beautiful and well maintained. Quiet neighborhood, great for families and a short walk to the bay and the beach. Great small neighborhood markets and coffee shops. Parking and navigating the narrow streets and alleys is a bit difficult and if you don’t have a very small car, you won’t be able to get into the garage. But, there is street parking and free, safe beach parking a short walk away. Great experience, would recommend!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beach house in Mission Beach! The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the sand and surf. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this little slice of paradise again!

Roomy relaxing clean home in walking distance to Mission bay and beach. We liked the 2nd story deck, beach gear and toys, garage for parking (small cars) and well stocked kitchen and baths. No AC but plenty of fans and SD weather was temperate as usual

What a wonderful beach vacation spot. They had everything we needed as a family of 4 and then some. The garage was one of the biggest we’ve ever had staying in Mission. Our Toyota Tacoma fit in the garage with ease. Lovely views and a VERY short walk to the beach or bay. We’d love to stay here again. BOOK IT!

Quaint, clean and the enough space for the 3 of us (all adults). Well equipped with kitchen utensils, flatware, beach towels, beach chairs, etc. There were not a lot of dining options within a half mile but, if you are willing to walk a mile or so, there are plenty of options. However, because of the location (southern part of Mission Beach) there is less foot traffic and noise and there are smaller crowds on the beach.

Very enjoyable stay. We were very comfortable and liked the location,but not as close to the beach as we thought.Small quirks, 4 bathroom sinks but only two toilets and one shower, not one bathroom with all.Could not get the coffee maker to work in spite of instructions from staff. We really enjoyed the outdoor decks.

We had a great vacation at this property. Very comfortable and having the two outdoor spaces was amazing. Double French doors having fresh air coming in was just want we needed. It is right near the bay and beach on the other side. Couldn't ask for a better location. We went to a music festival and visited our son in the Navy and it was all with in walking distance. We would come back.

This property is outstanding. It is exactly as advertised. It is super clean and in the perfect location. Just enough off the beaten path to not be super noisy but literally a 2 minute walk to the ocean-side beach or the bay-side beach. Property management was excellent with great communication and very responsive to questions. This will be our go to stay for vacation in San Diego!

My four kids and I loved our vacation at this home. The bunk bed room with an extra bed was perfect for my teenage boys. My daughter and I shared the other room. Upstairs was open and refreshing with plenty of seating and a nice patio with a bbq. The location was exactly what we wanted. We could choose to walk to the beach or bay. Less than a minute walk to the beach and a few seconds to the bay. We could watch the sunset at the beach and then the Seaworld fireworks from the bay a little later! I was able to fit my minivan in the garage one time, after that it was too much trouble and I just parked at the nearby mission point park. The host was very responsive which was so nice. I was never wondering about check in and they answered my questions almost immediately.

Check in was seamless and management quickly responded to inquiries. Property is spacious and described accurately in listing. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The only inconvenience was parking. Listing states that parking space is limited and garage may be tight. It should clearly say that any vehicle larger than a sedan does not fit. There was no remote for the garage so one has to pull out into the alley and get out of the car to close and open the garage. A few times I was stopping traffic while doing this. A minor inconvenience but it should be clearer in the listing for those not familiar with the area. In general a great property. Would rent again.

Great location, nice deck, patio and grill and beds. Very tiny bathrooms and overall a bit run down. No light in the garage and the Coffee maker did not work. Called Vacasa as soon as we got there and they said that they would provide us with a new coffee maker. However I had to call every single day to see if it was coming and was on hold at least 45 minutes. We did not get the coffee maker until the last night of our stay. Vacasa did say they would mail us a check for a $100 for not being provided the coffee maker.

This was a perfect location for my family and I (husband and 4yo/2yo). 1 block from Mission Bay and 2 blocks from the Pacific Ocean. The house was just as pictured if not better! Puzzles and books in the house for little kids. 2 pack n plays in the closets even though they don't list this as an option. Comfortable beds! Parking in the garage may be tricky for those with a larger car AND not used to having a narrow alley. But we made it work with a van no problem. Walking distance to Belmont Park with shops, restaurants, rollercoaster, arcade etc. The nearest large chain grocery store was in Pacific Beach. PERFECT area to watch Sea World fireworks from the beach on Mission Bay at night! Quite a bit of airplanes flew over head as that's the flight path for San Diego airport. Didn't bother us one bit and we even had the windows open the whole time. Property management let us know when we could check in and the process was seamless. Property was ready an hour earlier. They did text to let us know someone would be in to make sure the ceiling fan was working correctly as well. Very pleased with our stay!!

Nice condo with lots of natural light and walking distance to both the bay, beach and park. Great outdoor spaces and partial view of the bay from the living area which is upstairs from sleeping quarters. The master bed was very comfortable. Just two of us for this trip so the 1 shower room with toilet was not an issue and there is another toilet upstairs. Furniture is a little dated and some kitchenware could be updated but none of those things kept us from enjoying the time spent in this property. It’s great that the property provides chairs, toys, wagon and an ice chest for beach days! A plus is that driving back to the property from San Diego is opposite of the traffic! We seldom experienced bad traffic.

The house is super cute and in a good place. Beds are terrible. The management company never sent me the address and never answered my text or calls (we found the location on another website). Upon arrival the garage door would not work and we had to go in through the house and manually open the garage door. The garage light had loose live wire hanging which arched out and shocked my husband. The Wi-Fi did not work. I waited on hold 5 separate time from 10 minutes to 30 minutes with no success getting ahold of a live person. I sent a text about the wire and Wi-Fi and I got a text back saying they fixed the Wi-Fi but a technician would have to come out for the garage. We didn’t hear from anyone until our last day there (we were there 5 days) and he entered the house without any notification. Like I said the house is great but the management company is absolutely horrible.

I had a few work meetings in SD area so brought my wife and two toddlers to spend an extended weekend together. This house was in the perfect location. It's a 1min. (literally) walk to the beach on Mission Bay and 2-3min. walk to Mission Beach on the ocean side. There are parks for kids nearby, the Belmont park ride attractions, and it is 10-15min. from almost everything in SD metro area i.e. airport, Balboa, downtown, etc. The house itself is two levels, rooms on the bottom, kitchen and living upstairs. It was nice to have bathroom upstairs and downstairs with the little ones. The deck is large and the grill is amazing, seems brand new. There is also a large patio downstairs, although we spent most of the time on the deck upstairs. The internet is amazing as is the TV full streaming and cable. The neighborhood is very chill. It wasn't excessively loud on the weekend (although it was offseason) or in the mornings. The only downsides are the stairs are cumbersome with littles but we just dealt with it cause the rest of the house was great. And it is amazing to have a garage but it is TIGHT, so if you have a large SUV it likely won't fit in there. We would highly recommend this house for a short or long-term stay in SD, it's comfort and location are top-notch. Thanks!
