Contemporary Cliffside Getaway with Ocean Front Patio

Cozy and remodeled 1 bedroom 1 bath upstairs condo with all the amenities. Located in the eclectic town of Ocean Beach, this contemporary furnished condo has direct access to a beautiful shared ocean front patio where you can relax and watch the amazing San Diego sunsets. This building sits on a small bluff directly overlooking the tide pools, and ocean below. The patio also has a great view of the famous Ocean Beach pier, and surrounding coastline. The unit is located in the rear of the building with no ocean view, but only a 50 foot or so walk to the ocean front patio. Parking is behind our yellow building in the upper lot #3 spot. The unit also is fully equipped with air conditioning.

Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the trash

-Place all furniture in its original location. -Place dirty towels in the bathtub.
-Turn off air conditioners, fans and heat. -Log out of all streaming apps on the TV.
-Place all beach gear in the condo. There is a hose to wash off sand by the front of the patio along the walkway. -Lisa will be over at 10:00 a.m., if you decide to leave early please let us know.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Mom and daughter trip!

Great vacation spot

Great condo in nice location near tide pools. My son and I loved walking down by the tide pools each evening. We watched the waves and looked for little crabs. The condo was very clean and exactly what we needed.

Amazing ocean views

Enjoyed a week long family vacation in San Diego. The views from the property were stunning. We enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Also close to major attractions (Sea World, Zoo, Whale Watching Tours). House was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in the Ocean Beach area.

Clean and well located just as advertised

The property was very clean and well equipped. The location was great with just a short walk to the main street. Be careful with the parking because the space marking is not obvious - especially at night.

Cute beach getaway

The apartment was very cute and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the location was gorgeous. The owner was flexible with our late arrival, which was much appreciated. We also loved the notebook of suggestions for great restaurant options. Thanks for a nice family getaway weekend!

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything in the condo was clean, comfortable and in great condition. We were able to easily walk to excellent dining options. My favorite activities were exploring the tide pools, watching surfers, and walking along the coast down to Sunset Cliffs. I would happily stay again!

Great stay!

My husband, 2 year old son and I stayed in this condo for our family vacation to San Diego. We thought the condo was the perfect place to stay! The condo was very clean and accommodating for our family. We also really loved the Ocean Beach neighborhood. It seemed more local than some of the other popular places to stay in San Diego, and the restaurants were great too. Highly recommend this stay!

This compact unit has everything

We had a lovely time! The view is incredible and the neighbors are very friendly. The property manager was very quick to respond when we had questions. The condo was cute and the location lovely! It is walking distance to multiple restaurants and the beach. We absolutely recommend staying here.

Vacation to San Diego

This was a very nice place to stay at, very convenient to all locations and the highlights of San Diego. We love this little ocean side town of Ocean Beach. This was our second time staying in this area. The view from this property is amazing and had a nice grill area to cook and prepare food. We really enjoyed the property. Beautful, location and decor

The space was very roomy, simple, and elegant. The patio overlooking the ocean and tidal pools was the best. We lucked out on dates and only one other tenant was there using the pario, so it was like our personal space. Might be a bit off putting if crowded.

Perfect location and stay!

Lisa was an incredible host, she went the extra mile and helped get some champagne and chocolates for me to surprise to my girlfriend. The communication throughout the entire stay and checkin/checkout process was so great. Very clean and easy stay! Ocean Beach is so close to everything, and the location of this property by the water was amazing. Great walks and viewpoints for sunsets, as well as close proximity to stores, bars, and restaurants. Will for sure be looking into this property again when we come back down to San Diego!

Perfect for Southern CA beach experience.

Condo is perfectly located… not too close (away from noise) and within walking distance to beach, restaurants and bars. The unit was as advertised and more! This was our first time to San Diego, and learned that the convenience of an in-city airport means that the whole city adapts and Ocean Beach gets some of the disadvantages, but much less then other parts of the city. This did not diminish our stay. We would stay again.

Breathtaking Views

We loved our stay here! We were in the area for a wedding. We wanted to have beautiful views but also have a place to wind down and relax with our children after long days in the sun. We liked having a kitchen and living space as we have children, and it helped it to feel a bit more like home. The views were breathtaking in the shared space in the back. Check-in was super easy, and everything met or exceeded expectations. Thank you for making our first trip to the San Diego area memorable!

Ocean Waves

Great ocean side property. Very beachy feel and very clean. There are a lot of cars parked on the streets of Ocean Beach. This property has its own parking spot, which makes it more appealing. Host is quick to respond to questions, even left us umbrellas so we wouldn’t be inconvenienced by the rain. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property.

Artist’s Paradise with Beach Views

The neighbors were delightful. The ocean view was so amazing it was clear and free of any traffic. Like a private beach just for us. The ocean sounds were the perfect backdrop for evening on a lawn chair. The neighbor shops were friendly and very artistic. There is a Wednesday market that was great.

Amazing time in OB!

Girlfriend and I spent 5 days in the San Diego and this property in OB was our “home base”. Everything about our experience was fantastic! From check in, to the place itself, everything was above and beyond our expectations. VRBO was clean and in a fantastic location. So many good restaurants, breweries, points of interest all in walking distance. Better yet a lot of touristy San Diego points of interest were a quick drive/Uber. Highlight of our trip was sitting outside on the shared patio or standing on the sunset cliffs and watching the dolphins play or just enjoying the sunset. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Fantastic Place!!!

We came across this unit because another place we rented did not work out...everything happens for a reason for sure! Tom met us there on short notice and everything worked out perfectly. The unit was modern, clean and had everything you could ever want or need. The ocean side "picture perfect" patio and the grill were great for cooking dinner outside every night. The neighbors were fantastic. The air conditioning was a huge plus! Easy walk to bars and restaurants. Three short blocks to Ocean Beach pier. Would stay there again. Highly recommend! Wonderful Location! Pleasant Host!

We stayed here for a weekend. It is in a fantastic location, just around the corner from the cliffs. Walking distance to some great restaurants. The place itself is cozy. Take caution when driving up the steep driveway to park. Our car scraped a little, but there is a way to do it without scraping. The AC wasn't working when we were there, but there are a ton of windows, so it wasn't an issue. Lisa is such a nice woman. The only reason 4 stars and not 5 is because of the steep driveway that made our car scrape and the lack of working AC. Everything else was magnificent! There's even a washer/dryer in the unit!

Feel Like a Local, Not a Tourist

This apartment had everything we needed and was very nice and clean. Lisa was very responsive and helpful. The location right on the sea cliffs was amazing! We enjoyed spending time looking out at the ocean in the mornings and evenings and spent an afternoon exploring all the nearby tide pools and little coves. This location was very convenient to Ocean Beach (you can walk there), Sea World, the airport, Sunset Cliffs, and Point Loma. This is a great neighborhood for anyone who wants to feel more like a local and less like a tourist! It was nice to have a parking spot since street parking filled up. A couple things to keep in mind if you're looking at this place: the couch bed was not very comfortable according to my 12-year-old son (he ended up sleeping on the air mattresses provided in the apartment), though the bed in the bedroom was very comfortable for me and my daughter. Also, as a mom traveling alone with two kids I didn't feel 100 percent safe in this neighborhood. I wouldn't have wanted to walk around at night with them here, though the apartment itself felt safe enough. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend the tide pools/rocky cliffs in this area for little kids, but for my older kids (12 and 14) they were just fine.
