    The cottage features a full kitchen, fast WiFi, dedicated workspace, private outdoor seating area, and the rare bonus of large dedicated parking space... a huge plus in Mission Beach!

    This bright and thoughtfully furnished standalone cottage combines modern comfort with laid-back beach style. Natural wood accents, comfortable furnishings, and an open living area create a cozy space to relax after a day in the sun.

    The cottage includes:

    The primary bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with soft linens and a calming beach-inspired design. The second bedroom includes a trundle bed that converts into two twin beds along with a workspace, making it great for kids, friends, or remote work stays.

    Whether you spend the day surfing, paddle boarding, biking along the boardwalk, or exploring San Diego, this cottage is a comfortable home base in one of the best locations in Mission Beach.

    Guests have private access to the entire cottage and one dedicated parking space.

    Unlike other rentals, there is a large parking spot that comes with the house (A huge plus in the summer months when parking is at a premium).
    Please note that while an F250 truck can fit in the spot, it can sometimes be difficult getting into the spot, especially if you are not familiar with the vehicle you are driving. If the disabled spot across the alley is open, then it is a breeze as you just pull in there and back into your spot.

    Free shared laundry is available onsite.

    - Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am
    - No parties or unapproved visitors allowed
    - This property has a strict no-noise-violation policy

The cottage was great for our three-girl (woman) getaway. We loved the location and being able to walk to restaurants, and of course, the beach, in just minutes. The cottage was clean and well-furnished, and we appreciated the snack basket!

Cute little house in great location. Clean, cozy, and we'll stocked with everything you'll need! Kitchen loaded with necessities and goodies. Wonderful bedding and really nice sleeping pillows. Great stay!

Great Mission Beach House

The property accommodated our family of 4 well, including 17 and 15 year old boys. The location is close to the beach and all necessities. We were very happy with our rental!

Beach Getaway

This house was a perfect place for a nice beach getaway. It is so close to the beach and only took about 5 mins to walk there. It is also in close walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. The house was a perfect size for our group of three. It was well stocked with items that we needed.

Great stay near Mission beach

We stayed at this place for about a week and it was a great convenient experience. Walk to the beach is literally 2 -3 minutes. All beach essentials were provided. Nice beach house decor and vibe. Cafes, restaurants all within walking distance. Enjoyed evening boardwalk strolls.

This property worked very well for the three of us. It was walkable to restaurants and beach. We have never stayed at a vrbo that had so much to offer as far as extras. Molly was always available and helpful in every way.

Great Place for Small Family

Great location! Something different to do everyday. We stayed 5 nights in the end of July and it was perfect. Place was exactly as advertised, great location and had just what needed. Tons of beach toys, chairs, umbrella. Would recommend to any and all!!

Excellent! I would gladly rent it again.

The cottage was the perfect place for me. The location couldn't be better. The beach, bay, restaurants, bars, and liquor store are within walking distance. It is close to the action but the cottage is quiet. Molly was easy to communicate with.

It’s a perfect stay for a small family. Very close to the beach, restaurants and stores. The host MOLLY , she is a super nice and helpful person, very hands on, she will reply you message very quick. I would recommend her place any time. I hope in the future we will return to her cottage.

Very clean and cozy

Molly was a very accommodating host, very thoughtful with her touches, and a great communicator. The property was well furnished and prepared, and the place was very clean. The place is on the smaller side, but it worked just fine for our family of three and all of our luggage. She has plenty of places to put away clothes. Beds were comfortable, as was the couch. The parking spot, while tight, was greatly appreciated!

Cute little home base to enjoy Mission Beach

This little home was the perfect home base for a long weekend. Such an easy, quick walk to the beach. Walking distance to shops, coffee and restaurants. The boogie boards were a huge hit and it was so nice to have bike rentals so close by. Parking might be a challenge if you have a large truck, but our midsize SUV rental fit perfectly. I didn’t realize when booking that it was a jack and Jill bathroom set up, but that worked out just fine. The neighborhood got pretty festive on Saturday/Sunday, but nothing that disrupted our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Cute, Clean and Near the Beach

Molly is an excellent manager. She had good communication throughout the booking process and stay. The house is cute, clean, and within a short walk to the beach and several restraunts. The rooms are small, but comfortable. On site laundry facilities made washing beach towls easy. There is a parking spot by the house, which will fit a small SUV or compact vehicle. DO NOT TRY TO PARK A LARGE VEHICLE HERE! We would book with Molly again for sure. again.again!Itcomfortaburants.

Great Location and Great Host

Great location. Ocean (great for surfing and relaxing), restaurants and stores are all in walking distances. Public transit right in front of door. Very comfortable and cozy place. Bedrooms are a bit small but big enough to spend the night and also enough storage for clothes to hang up and put in drawers. Big kitchen with a 3 chair bar height (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, some K-cup coffee available to start with etc. included). Comfortable size living room with a 3 seating couch. There is a foldable table and chairs if needed. Molly, the host answered all the questions I had in no time. We will definitely stay here again when visiting San Diego.

Beautiful Little Cottage

Our stay at Molly’s Mission Beach cottage was exactly what we were looking for when my husband and I booked our anniversary trip. This cute little cottage is a mere few walking minutes from the beach and the bay. We spent some of our days hanging out at the beach, visiting some of the cute little shops, and eating and drinking our way through the many cute little coffee shops, restaurants and bar & grills within walking distance of the place. The rental is a cozy two bedroom that was just enough room to stop by for a rest in between our walks on the beach and trips around the area or crashing at night. It is cute, clean and beachy!!!! Molly was also wonderful to work with before, during and after our stay. Communication was clear and timely. She even remembered it was our anniversary and left us a sweet basket of goodies to celebrate! We would definitely rent this place or from one of Molly’s other places the next time we are in town!
