We had to wait by the road after the whole day of driving. It didn't feel like arriving to 4stars hotel but a not well organised B@B. "Nice place, good airco, in the old town close to restaurants etc. Breakfast was sad (pre-packed toast, butter and jam). The city of Taranto is not very nice, a lot of boarded up homes, streets at dirt etc. There is not much to do. I thought the price of the room was high considering that city."

"To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by.
