Power was out most of the time at the house. There is no provisions for a backup generator. With no power there is no refrigerator or water supply since the house is on a pump system with a water storage tank. Could not flush toilets or wash dishes. The water heater is propane and would only get the water lukewarm, when the power was on and you could take a shower. The house doesn't have any heat either. We were ready to cut our trip short after 3 nights of this. Management had us relocate to another house which was not beach front like we had rented. This company will not refund any money under any circumstances. After our stay at the first house, the management company charged my credit card for damage that was already there when we arrived. If renting from this company go over everything with a fine tooth comb and report anything immediately to the management. In our case there was a candle on a wood table in the living room that had a burn mark hidden by the candle and a small tear in the couch. Did not find the burn mark until we moved the candle to the dining table on the second evening when we had to use it for light. The candle was never lit while on the living room table. I will never rent from this company again. I have reported this to Vrbo and my credit card company. Another note of interest is the company will only take cash for the second payment. No other form of payment is accepted. This means traveling in Mexico with a large amount of cash.
