We decided to shorten our stay due to the overall experience.
Our booking was made in advance, and we had also informed the property beforehand that we would be arriving late. However, upon arrival, the hotel appeared unprepared to receive guests. The property presentation and room readiness did not meet the expected standards.
We were informed that our originally booked room had an issue and were offered an alternative room described as an “upgrade.” Unfortunately, the replacement room was not fully prepared upon arrival — the bedsheets had not yet been set up, and we were asked to wait while the room was being made ready.
There also appeared to be very few or no other guests during our stay, which made the lack of readiness more concerning.
Overall, the experience did not align with the expectations created at the time of booking. We hope the property and Hotels.com review operational readiness and listing standards to help prevent similar experiences for future guests.
