Everything was amazing from the room to the pool and the breakfast was excellent as well. We liked it so much we extended out stay.

The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. There is no in room coffee maker (provided at...

Excellent staff, they helped us at any time of day with whatever we needed. The room was as beautiful as the ocean view.

Rooms are big and comfy, staff is pretty friendly and the breakfast was great. Pool was good, services like chairs and showers at the beach were fantastic as well. Hope to visit again!

Make sure you get an suv. Area has challenging roads. Very beautiful area. Friendly staff. Beach is amazing.

Property is amazing and private. The beach access is great as well as the surf. WiFi was fast and much needed since the areas cell signal is abysmal. Roy was great with the check in process and making sure we were updated prior to arriving. Heads up, make sure you’ve got WhatsApp installed prior to arriving. Seems to be the best means of communication with the property. Plenty of restaurants and bodegas within walking distance. We’ll definitely stay again when we return to Santa Teresa.

Well kept property, convenient, friendly staff, quiet and peaceful

Loved this place! So happy we found it! A little oasis off the main street. Short walk to great restaurants and beach. Rooms had good A/C and the pool was clean and refreshing. The owner Barbara was very welcoming and helped us arrange a fishing trip. Andrea cooked us marvelous breakfasts and Ines gave my daughter and I an introductory yoga lesson. Fantastic stay!

I was impressed by the hospitality, food, services, and cleanliness of this establishment. I hope to return soon. Highly recommend

El Colibri is an excellent choice for a week long stay in Playa Carrillo. Our kids loved the pool and were very comfortable roaming about the property and surrounding area. The walk down to the beach was very reasonable, as was access to the market and several small restaurants. Of course I need to mention El Colibri's outstanding Argentinian parrilla. We usually dine at different location every night, but we enjoyed the parrilla so much that we came back for second round. I thought that the...

Spotless room. Very corteous, professional staff

Tambor Tropical is an exceptionally well cared for property. We were well taken care of by very friendly and attentive staff. The hotel is a great place for a quiet and peaceful getaway. This isn't a comment towards the hotel, but we felt important for visitors to know that the beach isn't a great swimming beach. It is great for sunrises, long walks, and not sharing it with many other people.

We loved the vibe of this place and area. Great pool and already exceeded our high expectations

The Hotel has 10 private villas, each very spacious and romantic. Our patio had a private plunge pool connected to a 6" deep pool area for lounge chairs "in the water". The villas are buried in dense vegetation giving the sense that you are in the jungle (which you are) on a hill providing panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Perhaps the greatest feature is the Food - they have a husband & wife team of fantastic chefs. All the food is organic and purchased daily. The meals are designed around...
