Great Place to Stay in the Marina District

This was such a nice place to stay. You can bring your car and park at no additional cost. You can also use public buses easily - there is a bus stop less than a block away. It is easy to hop on a bus to get to the Golden Gate Bridge and also to Fisherman’s Wharf. To get to other places in the city you have to switch buses but it is really not hard. The buses are clean and only cost 2.75 per trip. We also got to the airport easily by taking the number 28 bus to Daly City then a BART train directly to the airport. Back to the Motel…the staff was great and very accommodating. The inner courtyard is really nice and it was quiet at night. The neiborhood is not the trendiest or swankiest but it felt safe which is what was important to us. The bed was comfortable as well. The place was a bit dated and we could have used more cookware but the place was clean and well-maintained. We recommend the Marina Motel for sure.
