Older hotel convenient location, walls are a bit think but great value choice
Room was clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. The decorations were unique and it was affordable. The staff were kind, accommodating, and helpful. The hotel was within walking distance of many delicious restaurants, a Walgreens, and much more.
Oh we absolutely LOVED our stay, front desk helpers were a complete joy and so so so helpful and kind. I’ve never felt more welcome. The bedrooms were so neat and clean, despite the size it never felt ‘small’. I would love to book another stay in the future!
The location and staff were amazing! Just a few weird things, no trash can, iron or hair dryer in the room. Other than those things it was a great stay!!!
Hotel was newly opened and maybe not quite ready for it, in that I had no hot water when I woke up for a shower - pretty sure this was a one off for future guests. The desk clerk told me they would likely lower my bill, but did not do so.
Location was good. Staff were friendly.

The location is fantastic, and they offer courtesy bread and coffee in the morning. However, the main reason I reserved this hotel was because it is advertised as an air‑conditioned property, and the room description in the amenities section states that it has air conditioning. It turns out that, for them, “air conditioned” means only a ceiling fan. If I had known that, I would have chosen another hotel because A/C was important to me. They are lying in their advertising.
I asked for an extra fan, and they said they didn’t have any, so that first night was awful. The room was extremely hot. I wouldn’t have minded if I had knowingly chosen a hotel without A/C, but because they advertised it, I picked this one.
Also, on the third day, they didn’t clean the floor in the room, so it was very dusty, and the sheets were not cleaned either. The staff was nice overall.
The look and feel of the hotel was horrible, When I booked 4 rooms there was no where did it say that construction was going on.

Good location but the room was too small. There was no place to put your stuff, Tiny bathroom. The TV wasn't working. The elevator was very old and noisy. I had to wait 20 minutes for the guy the check me in, he was out. nobody was at the reception desk.

Not the place to stay if you want a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel has guests who don't stay quiet and are okay with screaming and waking people up in the middle of the night or playing loud music early in the morning. Walls are paper-thin, so you hear everything. I can only guess, but most rooms (or at least my room) have no windows and are therefore a bit claustrophobic. Housekeeping is hit or miss. It seems it's not a priority for them. It's a good location to stay in otherwise but will avoid this hotel next time I am in town.
Property wasn’t ready to receive gust , not clean , no space to move inside the room .
Sink were placed out of the bathroom due to space .
Bad smell …
On going Construction .
Tab water wasn’t clean, orange colour due to old rusted pips ..

This hotel is an older hotel, there is an odor in the hotel, they are renovating things and making improvements, but during my stay that was not the case, the hot water came out yellow, the bathroom tub didn’t drain properly, and smelled, I did mention it to the staff but nothing was done to correct this issues, I also was double charged by the hotel and it’s taking quite awhile to correct it. I most likely will not stay at this hotel again.
My experience with Hotel Union Square was extremely disappointing, particularly because of the hotel’s complete unwillingness to provide even the most basic assistance after my stay.
I needed a very simple confirmation from the hotel so that I could pursue compensation from Expedia: merely confirmation that I was the guest who actually stayed at the hotel and that the amount relating to my stay was paid in U.S. dollars. This was not a request for reimbursement from the hotel, nor was I asking them to assume any financial responsibility whatsoever. I was simply asking for a straightforward factual clarification concerning my own stay.
To my astonishment, the hotel refused to provide even this minimal assistance. It is difficult to understand how a hospitality business can be so unwilling to help a former guest with such a simple and reasonable request, particularly when doing so would apparently impose no burden or cost on the hotel.
What made the experience considerably worse was the way my request was handled over the telephone. I approached the matter politely and respectfully, yet the staff member I spoke with was incredibly impolite and dismissive, showing virtually no interest in understanding or addressing my request.
Hospitality should not end the moment a guest checks out. Based on the treatment I received when I needed a very simple piece of assistance, I found the hotel's attitude profoundly disappointing and completely inconsistent with the level of courtesy an
THIS HOTEL DOES NOT EXIST. It is now owned by the city. I think as a homeless shelter or something. We were sent to Park Central Hotel which was wonderful.

I was informed upon arrival that I couldn't stay due to them being a pop-up homeless shelter. I never received any form of communication alerting me to this, nobody is at the phone at the hotel to even check this, and now they're refusing to refund me the $610.41 I paid to stay there.
Avoid this hotel, period.
