i absolutely loved staying here. it was my first time in san francisco as a young solo female traveller and this place was the best hostel i stayed in by far. the staff are amazing and super down to earth and helpful, the events hosted are super fun , thereโ€™s so many places to hangout around the hotel, and the area is beautiful

Itโ€™s great that you can play the guitar and amp in the room. The bathrooms are fine, but the electronic key opens the door even if someone is in there. They should have a manual lock on the inside so nobody can enter while you are in there

I have lived in San Francisco for the past 30 years, and I know the city changes from block to block. The music city hotel is the perfect alternative to stay in the city on and off without paying lots of money. The area is very nice, many good restaurants and pubs. Night life as well, dispensaries and more. Overall, I love this place.
