Good value for a budget downtown stay.

Very decent price for having to stay in the downtown area. It isn't the Ritz, but it was clean and tidy, with on-site parking (extra $30) and a kind, friendly staff.

Seems like a nicely run place. The room was exactly what we needed. Nothing too fancy but clean and comfortable. Recommend if you need basics, but also want clean and safe.

Great price

They had a good supply of soap and shampoo of good quality. The bathroom was kinda small, but that is normal for the area. The bed was average, but the pillow and bedding was pretty bad. The service and price however was excellent and still worth a stay if you need a hotel in the area.

PROS: 1. Room was very clean, no bedugs, no mold, no cameras. 2. Mattress was in good shape, well supplied amenities 3. Check in/out process was ok. Room can be paid with debit card, but parking and deposit only by credit card. 4. Building held up well during a 4.3 earthquake. 5. One liquor store market right across the street with easy access (not much else around though) CONS: 1. Bad neighborhood. Sketchy people and a lot of loud noise and yelling all night long. Earplugs are provided, and rooms cant be accessed from the street, only by keycard, making it safe. 2. TV only works when you manually push TV buttons, and switch it to HDMI 1 3. Parking is a tight squeeze and limited. Your parking spot may be parked right at sidewalk, so make sure there are no valuables left in your car. OVERALL: I would definitely stay here again because its cheap and clean. Just come prepared and know where youre going so you dont end up lost in the Tenderloin area a couple of blocks away.

Super nice people, so close and convenient to everything. Reasonable prices for a last minute getaway to see Queens of the Stone Age.

The hotel was very convenient to most of the places on our list to go to and to friends and family. The hotel staff was very friendly, fast and efficient. The room was very clean and was a lot nicer than expected.

Like the other reviews, decent room, helpful staff, dirty house less neighbors that leave their excrement on the sidewalks for you to enjoy! SOMA location is convenient for Muni transit, close to downtown.

Beautiful rooms inside, but the outside has no character and the paint job is unattractive. Landscaping could turn it into a premier property. Checkin and manager is wanting.

Bed bugs

At first the room.seemed nice enough and well equiped but when I pulled off the sheets there were bed bugs. Ddrips of blood and feces on the mattress and mattress cover. I hid in the bathroom until I could check out.
