"We had a beautiful room with a corner balcony facing the sea. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and pillows, a fridge and a safe. The bathroom was large and clean too. There was also lots of wardrobe space and hangers. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, ranging from scrambled or boiled eggs, bacon, cereal, lots of different dried fruits and nuts and seeds, jam and honey, amazing, fresh croissants and an array of homemade cakes which were delicious! We loved the breakfast. Free parking was right next to the entrance to the hotel. The pool was clean and the staff at the bar next to the pool were friendly. In fact, all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. "

"Adorable little hotel very convenient to visiting area wineries . The room was spotless . Breakfast was out of this world . Had an amazing dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommend. Just sorry we didn't get a chance to use the amazing pool . Views were incredible!"

"The villa was everything we could have wished for. It had a functional indoor space with everything you need and an excellent shower. The outdoor space was huge, with a big verandah and bbq area. The pool was a good size and when not exploring Palermo, Etna, the Aolean Islands or Capo D'orlando we were enjoying villa days, up to 12 hours in the pool. We picked nearby lemons to enjoy in iced water. Out of consideration we replaced anything we used, including foil, toilet roll, hand wash and pool inflatables. Antonio was helpful and answered any questions we had, he put in a big fan to help with the heat. The drive to it from the main road was tricky - take your time, but totally worth the draw-dropping views and seclusion. We took our two daughters aged 14 and 11 who loved it too. Capri Leone had everything we needed, supermarkets, post office, hardware store. Chimera pizza restaurant was delicious, large good-priced pizzas. Incredible memories, thank you. "

"The villa is awesome! Plenty of space, great views, great facilities. The jewel in the crown is the pool and cabin area, but the outside kitchen (with pizza oven) is also amazing. My kids, who are the best arbiters in these matters, concluded 'this is the best villa we ever stayed at'! High praise indeed. Guiseppe and his family are fantastic hosts and the communication/support was perfect. We had a great holiday and I am already recommending this villa to friends and family."

"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed! It is just FANTASTIC service. Simple. It started before we even arrived: they don't have 24hr reception so kept in touch and arranged for someone to be there to greet us. Our flight was delayed and we'd miss dinner so they prepared a delicious Insalata Caprese that was ready for us in the room when we arrived at almost midnight. The rooms are modern, functional and spotless. The grounds are perfectly maintained. The food, oh wow... chef Fabrizio and his team are masters! At the end of the day it is all about service and it is clear that the whole staff is there to make sure you have the perfect stay. Special thanks to Karina, Catherina (who stayed late to greet us at check in) and Francesco (barman). The only consideration is the location: Sicily is much larger than you'd think and going to most tourist attractions is a 60-90-min drive. We didn't mind as relaxing by the pool was our main goal anyway! Talking of relaxing... it was disrupted for two days because of a large family with young kids that just could not stop shouting and crying. This is definitely more of a couples' destination. You can definitely bring your kids but, other than the pool, they have no other entertainment. If they are well-behaved - as was the case for all the other kids - then it is a delight. But this particular family should be more aware and considerate! But this does not detract from the amazing service provided by Rocca di Saraceni! Awesome!"
