"Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. Each night was a good night's sleep. We were in a room with the sea view although the garden view would also be very pleasant. We would recommend going half board, the buffet dinners were delicious and well cooked. Quality of food and ingredients were excellent and included local fruits and other produce which we liked. "First visit to this Hotel. You were made to feel welcome from the minute that you arrived. Room was spacious with a beautiful sea view . We opted for half board. There was a good selection of high quality foods which varied from night to night. Plenty of sun beds with towels provided. Lovely friendly staff. Looking forward to returning. "

"My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot."

"We had a lovely stay at Kikere Studios. The rooms were super clean and the bathrooms were spacious. There were even facilities to cook in the studio. The pool area and the area around the apartments were lovely and clean, and the location was great – just a short walk to the old town. Mario at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. We were able to leave our bags at reception after check-out because we had a late night flight. We spent the rest of the day by the pool. We can’t fault the...

"Amazing, quiet, peaceful retreat with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Slightly out of town so car was essential. €7 in a taxi from Puerto del Carmen. Breakfast was devine every day. We stayed 2 weeks and we felt looked after. "

"Our 3rd stay here and it never disappoints. Clean throughout. Friendly staff. Nice pool with plenty of sunbeds. I especially like that the pool lifeguard removes towels from sunbeds if no one uses them for over 1 hour. Breakfast is good. Plenty of choice. 5 minute walk to the beach. 200 metres from nearest bus stop."
